To ask how many people you have slept with?

I just wanted to ask, sorry if its a bit rude, How many people you have slept with and how many you would say is normal?

10 and I'm 41. I definately agree with the quality and not the quantity comments. I would also have loved to have met and fell in love with just 1 person and still be with them whistful sigh I wouldn't have felt I was missing out at all.

I've lost count,I can't remember most of their names either.

More than the years old I am.

Settled down and behaving myself now though.

defineme, don't get me wrong i am happy to have only been with dh, i dated loads before we got together and didnt feel any of them deserved me.
( bit big headed i know) but when my friends say they have slept with x amount i always feel i cant comment on the conversation, although i have probably had sex more times than they have ( been with dh 9 years now)

Serial monogamist. Could never see the allure of one night stands tbh- not from a moral pov, but I like to get to know someone a bit.

I don't think it matters, really. It's just sex, it's not a rocket science, everyone can do it.It's not a huge achievement to have had sex with lots of people.

A long time ago before AIDS. It was the late 70's early 80's. Took full responsibility for birth control regardless of what "he" said. tbh I wish I had been strictly chaperoned. As for what you would call "normal" that does not exist accross the board, in differing cultural groups for example.

Oh roughly 100. Though bear in mind that I am 45 and started having sex at 18 so I average out at less than 5 a year. Not all of these encounters were wonderful but very few were actively unpleasant. I wouldn't say I regret any of them; the less good ones were never more than a bit boring, uncomfortable or clumsy.
