Obviously not to playgroups etc, but I've got a baby at home and don't think I can cope otherwise. Is there anywhere we can safely go where there won't be lots of kids/pregnant women?

Yes, as I recall, wwc did "properly" troll and was quite unpleasant. Constructed elaborate back story. Wound people up and seemed to enjoy it.

I never posted on her threads but did read them -- I recall the first one, and recall that I believed it initially, but that lots of other posters called troll pretty fast. Later, she was confirmed as a troll and is remembered as a fairly nasty one.

galway - i post from my work laptop, sometimes through their router, sometimes not (technophobe here) and my work employs 140,000 people so could be possible i suppose.

BitOfFun · 02/10/2010 22:54

I think they both posted at varying times though- not that likely to be a workplace. I think it is more likely to be as catinthehat2 says- a local genuine tragedy and a concerted attempt to follow it up with a blog and internet trolling. I could be wrong, of course. But my sympathies obviously lie with bereaved parents, and I hope that whatever the circumstances, this doesn't cause too much pain to people.

pixie - very true Smile (that was my first ever bold too!)

seriously though its a horrible feeling isnt it? all this i mean Sad

BrianAndHisBalls · 02/10/2010 22:57

bof - good point, and on that note i really am going to bed x

galwaygal · 02/10/2010 22:59

BitOfFun - not all work places are 9-5, with 24hour shift work posting at varying times would be quite likely.

The blog is beautifully written.

I thought Susan had posted that she wasn't at work though? And we know she wasn't at work last night because she was on holiday in France?

Could be...I'm not really sure how the IP stuff works to be honest.

A laptop doesn't have an IP address though, from what I understand. It is the router.

If she has gone to the trouble of writing a false blog and all the posts on here, is there a reason why she wouldn't/couldn't have opened a false facebook page as well?

Not saying she has, just if
