Obviously not to playgroups etc, but I've got a baby at home and don't think I can cope otherwise. Is there anywhere we can safely go where there won't be lots of kids/pregnant women?

Sorry for delay in responding to this. We've banned Sassysusan as we found evidence that proved she was a troll. For this reason we've also deleted her posts.
JustineMumsnet · 02/10/2010 17:41
Hi all, I'm afraid that SassySusan is definitely a troll - one that we've banned at least four times in the past under different incarnations for posting to mislead and cause trouble.
It's very unfortunate that he/she's now posted in this topic as people are clearly extremely emotionally vulnerable here. It is, I suppose, technically possible that her current story is true - i.e that in at least four previous incarnations she lied about her personal details but in this case was telling the truth, but it's extremely unlikely and given folks' vulnerability we thought it best to ban her as soon as we found out his/her identitly.
peterpansmum please do [email protected] with any further information clarification as obviously we are very concerned about this person and the damage he/she has caused in the past.

As said, it is possible that her bereavement story is true (although I hope not) - we can't be sure - we are just sure that she's been banned four times by us for causing trouble over the last year or so. Each time she has come back with a new persona and started inflammatory threads. We only noticed this yesterday when her blog attacking another Mumsnetter meant that several people reported her posts and we took a look at her posting history.
JustineMumsnet · 02/10/2010 17:56
@arses
Were all her "inflammatory threads" related to children's deaths though? Because then it's just her rage.. which is a different story entirely.
I really feel that this is still very oblique.
No they weren't related to children's deaths but they were it seems designed to cause fights - very controversial subjects - leaving a lot of anger and fighting in their wake.
As you know we don't ban people lightly. Certainly not for being angry.

@PixieOnaLeaf
Justine - What were her other guises, then?
Seriously, it's important to know, because it might help us figure out whether she's just crying out because of Catherine, or whether the posting has a malicious intent.
The first incarnation was Washwithcare.
The nub of this from our point of view is that this poster had been banned several times and knew she had been banned, yet chose to come back here with a new name. Once we found out her identity this time we felt a duty of care to protect folk from the type of stuff that this person has a history of being involved with, particularly because this time she on the bereavement threads. Because of her history we didn't feel, as we might otherwise have done, a duty of care to her.
Arguably we might have gone about it in a different way but I hope you can see our thinking.

@DirtyMartini
Dee, I don't think they are claiming her story about Catherine was untrue, so they won't have evidence of that.
No we are not - I think from the posts since we've banned her it seems likely (sadly) that her story was true. But when we banned her this time we did so thinking her story probably wasn't true because of her behaviour last night, her number of previous identities and past troll-like behaviour.
I'm afraid there was enough in the bank to make us seriously doubt her story. We can only apologise if we made a mistake wrt to that.

@shabbapinkfrog
If you posted anything onto the bereaved mums thread it will have been deleted - like most other stuff on there.....most of the posts have been deleted, the thread title has been deleted (and it was beautiful) - it feels like our safe haven special thread has been peed on from a great height - none of us are very happy as I am sure you must all be able to understand all our emotions and outpourings ruined - not happy - not happy at all....
I'm sure we can get that put back Shabba - an unintended consequence - we will ask Techs to restore
