Obviously not to playgroups etc, but I've got a baby at home and don't think I can cope otherwise. Is there anywhere we can safely go where there won't be lots of kids/pregnant women?

OP posts:

washwithcare tried to get cash off people basically.

She came back under another name iirc and tried similar and got banned again.

Very different story

Did she LadyB? I didn't see that she'd tried that. I recall her threads about her DH and his ex and her stepchild (children?) upsetting loads of folk.

Feenie · 02/10/2010 18:23

Trying to extort money from MNers is slightly different to changing your name to start a bit of a ruck though, isn't it?

deemented · 02/10/2010 18:24

Justine -

Ok, so she's been a troll in the past.

Then the worst thing that could ever possibly happen to any parent happened to her.

I think she's probably sorry for the previous trolling.

So, when her daughter died, she rejoined MN and to my knowledge has not trolled since. Maybe that changed her outlook somewhat - tends to do that yunno, having a child die on you.

Yet you chose not to give her the benifit of the doubt - not to say to her 'Ok, we know who you were in previous guises, anymore trouble and you're out'

Instead you chose to take away a vital support network, and all because she'd made a few trolling posts previously.

Well done you. Seriously. MNHQ should be proud.

DirtyMartini · 02/10/2010 18:24

Beer, if she was WWC it was a lot more than namechanging, even from the bits that I saw. Cynical stuff geared to enrage.

WWC? Shock I remember that breastfeeding thread for a start.

Marchpane · 02/10/2010 18:25

I remember WashWithCare she was quite a prolific troll for about a fortnight. Claimed to be a step-parent and have a 3yo and be about to have another. About 9 months ago??

It's therefore perfectly possible she's borrowed someone else's rl identity. I do hope not because if the "real" Susan finds out about this... Well it's just unbearable Sad

Northernlurker · 02/10/2010 18:26

Namechanging for a thread is viewed differently from maintaining an identity and 'legend' for a sustained period of time.

I can't believe this - am stunned.

nulgirl · 02/10/2010 18:26

"DH left his ex when we met (bit of a whirl wind romance) and 6 mths later, we married. I'm expected our first baby this month."

Wahwithcare posted this in January. She did also said that she had a 3 year old daughter but has anything more been mentioned about the baby?

shabbapinkfrog · 02/10/2010 18:26

Deemented - perfect words for a crap situation....just gone through our thread and it is dreadful. Like a censored letter from a prison!!

arses · 02/10/2010 18:27

Oh my God, Marchpane! That is a terrifying thought..

Actually I think it wasn't under that name - it was another one where she was pleading for cash and she was IDed as WWC fairly quickly.

Rockbird · 02/10/2010 18:29

Oh God yes, the step parent business. It's all coming back now. I have to admit that when I saw she was WWC the thought of her 'borrowing' the latest story did flit across my mind. I sincerely hope that's wrong. :(

But that would have been before her daughter died, so before she was angry, Pixie.

pinkgrasshopper · 02/10/2010 18:37

If this is a case of stolen identity, then that would mean the blog is fake too, given this afternoon's entry re. Avril. This is all very sad indeed, whatever the story it is clear the poster needs support. I hope whoever she is she has that in RL.

Why are you all so surprised?

You need a tragic story from the local area
Borrow it, write a blog round it.
Set up another ID or two to say "yes I have met SS she is real" (and you only need one)
It's what they do. It's not difficult.

Google "Emma Bowyer" if you want to see what they can do.
