Obviously not to playgroups etc, but I've got a baby at home and don't think I can cope otherwise. Is there anywhere we can safely go where there won't be lots of kids/pregnant women?

just read page 16............... surely not?

deemented · 02/10/2010 16:14

No.

It's MNHQ talking bullshit.

Unless they show us proof otherwise...

peterpansmum · 02/10/2010 16:15

Definitely, definitely not, I am another bereaved mum and have met Sassy several times (Been to each other's houses)... I am absolutely fuming at the shocking treatment here and am about to email mnhq. I haven't read all this thread but i have got the jist of what's been going on. Hope you're proud of yourselves. This is a shocking way to treat someone.

Rockbird · 02/10/2010 16:15

A troll? A troll as in made the whole thing up, or troll as in being too aggressive (I'm not saying she is) or... shit, they're joking, right?

shabbapinkfrog · 02/10/2010 16:16

Oh MNHQ well done....well done for coming onto the BEREAVED Mums thread and removing the beautiful thread title because Sassy had started the new thread. Total, total shite. Dont you realise that the bereaved Mums thread is OUR SAFE HAVEN?? A place where we can be what we want to be - a place where we can cry, laugh, debate and understand each other.

VERY POOR BEHAVIOUR - I think you need banning from MN for that - totally, utterly disgusting.

VeryStressedMum · 02/10/2010 16:16

WTF is going on, Sassy is a troll? Her dd didn't die?

arses · 02/10/2010 16:17

Oh Christ.

PPM, how awful. I can't believe this is happening.

LadyBiscuit · 02/10/2010 16:17

MNHQ don't call people trolls lightly do they? This is weirder and weirder.

deemented · 02/10/2010 16:17

Come on then, MNHQ - show us the proof that you say you have.

Oh no! Shabba, I have just seen your post.. I have recommended your site to bereaved mums I have met on other fora so, so many times. This is so shit!

Seriously MNHQ, how are you going to deal with what peterpansmum has revealed? This is horrific!

Marchpane · 02/10/2010 16:19

Oh god it's like a car crash Sad

WTF is going on?

And to be fair if Catherine was really Kate or she died in a different month or on a different day or of a different virus, then it might be just her maintaining her privacy? Shock horror, someone not revealing their entire identity online, why ever not?

Rockbird · 02/10/2010 16:21

This is horrible :(

Tootlesmummy · 02/10/2010 16:22

MNHQ - proof???

VeryStressedMum · 02/10/2010 16:24

Think MNHQ should say what the evidence was, they can do this without revealing too much.

no-one's really going to believe them if they don't tell us anything else....

deemented · 02/10/2010 16:27

FFS - a poster has been to her childs grave. I have seen her childs obituary.

What exactly do MNHQ think they have?

annec555 · 02/10/2010 16:27

I can't possibly believe the troll accusation. She had a blog, posted here for a long time and actually met another poster in real life.
Furthermore, some of the things she wrote read to me as an absolute howl of grief and despair - she sounded extremely similar to my grandmother when she lost her youngest child, my mother. I just don't buy that someone can fake that depth of horror.

arses · 02/10/2010 16:28

And to remove the safe haven thread!

I posted on that this week for the first time ever because it was so beautifully set up, it was a gorgeous garden to remember these children.

I am not a mother who has a child who has died but four members of my broader family have had this nightmare and I posted flowers for them. I feel really upset that that was just whisked away and if I feel like that, for fuck's sake, how on God's earth are people who were bearing their souls to support one another through sheer and utter bloody hell on that thread supposed to feel?

The worst thing of all is that, though I never really go on that thread, I know that this week people posted stories about how their children died. How much that must drain and take it out of them and then there's some bloody amateur detective work and that's just gone?

Oh this is just sickening!

HalfTermHero · 02/10/2010 16:29

Jesus. Thus has gone from a car crash to a 45 car pile up Sad.
