Don't know if anyone saw this interview on This Morning earlier this week.
Woman claims to be a sex addict and has slept with 1000's of men. Is married and her husband is aware of situation; even waiting in wine bars while she takes men home for a shag.

Her 42nd birthday present to herself was to sleep with 42 different men. Including all members of a stag party. At once.

AIBU in thinking this is all just a load of old bollocks? The woman is a slag, plain and simple. Surely if she was addicted to sex, she could just have lots and lots of sex with her husband. Why is there a need to sleep with so many men?

OP, for what its worth, I think there is such a thing as sex addiction - but this woman isnt a sex addict, she's clearly got issues and sees the fact she can have sex with as many people as she likes - and brag about it on tv and online - as some form of self validation. Sad and really rather tragic - especially for her husband I'm guessing.

Really not sure why her husband sticks with her can't imagine what was going through his head as he prepares her for a 1 day marathon of 42 men.

cupcakes, if you can think of nothing edgier and challenging to what you perceive as middle-class uptightness than calling women who sleep with lots of men slags, then why not just drive through the red light district with your windows rolled down shouting it loudly? Anyway, it is used between men (and women also use it to describe men) when someone has over-indulged, like in this instance.

I think some people just choose to be offended by certain things...but then we have discussed this before.
