but the language used on this site is just shocking! if you all got such a perfect , selfulfilling life, why are you wasting it by ranting on this forum, even more..wasting time looking through mums forums to show off how negative parent?s life is. This is just pathetic!!!! You show such a strange hatred to mums and whole idea of parenthood, and created new concepts and meanings around this hate. This looks almost like hitlero style site. I cannot comprehend how can you be so spiteful and why to women that choose to have children, although you are yourself children of mothers that are just the same as the ones that you attacking. Moos.....baybee....that is so childish and sick! And i think you all like little never- to ? grow up children, and that?s why having kids scares you so much. This forum could be a perfect source of perfect psychology PhD thesis.....
sick ideology of never milked cows...mooooooooooo!!!!!!!

OP - how did you find that forum?and when i clicked on the link you posted it told me I had to log in and since I have no reason to be a on a childfree living website I couldn't be arsed to log in and read through alltheir vitriolic posts, getting more and more offended.
Why didn't you just erm....not look at it? Crisis averted!

Crazycatlady · 30/07/2010 15:12

This is the OP's only post on MN.

The offending forum now appears to have closed its doors to anyone not willing to register.

Two unrelated facts, but perhaps relevant to the thread...

swanandduck · 30/07/2010 15:17

Well, it's the kind of thread that understandably gives MN a bad name. I think it should be removed.

Jasonthunderpants · 30/07/2010 15:54

I have just registered and it is an American site
pretty crap with a lot about Jennifer Lopez

I dont think it is aimed at middleaged bald
(shaved head actually) men with beer bellys
cant seem to find the offending threads

Crazycatlady · 30/07/2010 16:02

I don't think that's the same site JT, the one the OP linked to has been closed to non-members, even for viewing. Probably a good thing.

Igglybuff · 30/07/2010 16:03

The login thing must be new - I could read with out joining no problem.

Interesting re the OP crazy!

themymble · 30/07/2010 16:05

I had a look at the site earlier today. It was absurd. Absolutely absurd- and for that reason hilarious and not something I could even begin to get worked up about.

I wonder whether it was started by a certain Ms A. Trunchbull? It sounded terribly like her, although I don't remember her ever using the term "cunt maggot."

OrmRenewed · 30/07/2010 16:08

I want to set up a site called HatetheHaters.com. To throw gratuitous insults at people who hate anything enough to set up a site to slag those things off.

Naetha · 30/07/2010 16:09

SGB usually your insights are pretty spot on, but with your last I think your common-sense-o-meter is a bit off whack.

I'm a mother - "breeder", yes. I'm also an Aries, a geologist, a Quaker, a size 12, and a fan Iron Maiden. They are my characteristics - not one of these things defines me, and to take one without the others is daft and immature.

If I drive in to the side of somebody's car with the kids in the back, chances are I did it because I'm not the best driver, not because I'm a parent.

I clipped the back of somebody's heel in the supermarket today, totally by accident. Was it because I had 2 kids and all their provisions in the trolley? No, it's cause the damn trolley was full of catfood. Just because I am a mother, doesn't mean this is the source of all my ills. I was perfectly adequately shite, well before I had children.

Oblomov · 30/07/2010 16:31

"childfree living", was the kind of website title thta i was planning on creating, based on my threads recently for flying without kids and going to posh nosh restaurants , no kids.
but this was not quite what i had in mind.
nasty !

whatname · 30/07/2010 16:40

hope the bloody thing has been closed down.
for those unable to see it, it was full of horrible people wishing horrible sick, evil things on people for the simple fact that they had children.
and calling children horrible, vile names, that shouldn't even be said out loud.

IT WAS NOT A PLACE TO GO TO WHINGE ABOUT PEOPLE BEING PRECIOUS ABOUT THEIR CHILDREN, or moaning pregnant women, or PFB's as some posters here have suggested.

PosieParker · 30/07/2010 18:19

I have been banned....

McSnail · 30/07/2010 18:20

Ooo... what did you say?

(just to be nosey)

PosieParker · 30/07/2010 18:27

I just said that whilst I understand that some people don't want children to actively hate them and wish them dead is bizarre. Misogynist because they only hate mothers, mothers to be and children. The abuse and name called made them pathetic and vile.

SolidGoldBrass · 30/07/2010 18:43

Naetha: I am certainly not claiming that people accidently bump each other's cars due to whether or not they are childfree - I meant that the childfree do have to put up with a certain amount of rudeness, hostilitiy and even unfair treatment from breeders (a common grudge point for the childfree is the workplace attitude that the childfree are always available to cover when breeders have childcare issues or parenting duties to fulfill - if you are childfree but have (for instance) an adult dependent who you care for, or like to spend your weekends doing charity work, or even if you do like to spend your weekends Having Fun, it's not all that fair to be told over and over again that your time, your life, your interests and your needs come second to those of people who are parents.)

But all this fainting and whimpering and having to lie down with the horror of it all - the world is not actualy a dangerous place to be a parent purely because some childfree people take the piss out of parents. 'Hate crimes' against breeders by childfree people are pretty rare. So rare that I am not sure I have ever heard of one.
And peple from MN going onto a childfree site and coming back here whining and stamping their feet is coming across as exactly the sort of precious, self-obsessed, breeder entitlement that sites like this take the piss out of. They are not bothering you. Stay off the site, it;s not about you, not for you and nothing to do with you.

McSnail · 30/07/2010 18:43

Yes. The misogyny was noteable as fathers never seemed to be mentioned.

Ah well - there's LOADS of hate sites out there. I stumbled across a women hating forum once, I think it was called Boys are Better then Girls, or some such.

'Tis the nature of the internet.

McSnail · 30/07/2010 18:44

sorry, that was to posie.

McSnail · 30/07/2010 18:46

And yes - they're not bothering anyone, so I find the clutching of pearls (by some) a bit too.

Sohweeee.

PosieParker · 30/07/2010 18:46

Weird though that that site was not celebrating the childfree life but whining and abusing those of us with children.....

McSnail · 30/07/2010 18:56

Och, I know.

I'm going to set up a website for Cycle-Free People, which will actually be a cyclist HATING forum, har har. Especialy UNICYCLISTS who wobble around like total twats in front of buses and not letting bus out to overtake. While I'm on said bus grinding my teeth because I'm late for work.

McSnail · 30/07/2010 18:58

Sorry if the same type of joke's been done. For once, I haven't read the whole thread. It's a long un.

Jasonthunderpants · 30/07/2010 18:59

I have also been banned from yuka
I dont know why
I wonder if they are watching this thread and takeing notes

McSnail · 30/07/2010 19:03

Ah, who cares.

PlanetEarth · 30/07/2010 19:04

Before I had kids, and was weighing up the pros and cons, I used to read the newsgroups (yes this was a long time ago) on parenting or being childfree. And the stuff on their just made me sure I'd made the right decision - parents on the whole, despite the complaints and niggles, seemed happy with their lives. The childfree newsgroup seemed to consist mainly of bitter, abusive people. I know which group I'd rather be part of...

sanielle · 30/07/2010 19:09

Um I'm just getting YUKA's main page who are the ones hosting the childfree site? So maybe they have been closed down?
