but the language used on this site is just shocking! if you all got such a perfect , selfulfilling life, why are you wasting it by ranting on this forum, even more..wasting time looking through mums forums to show off how negative parent?s life is. This is just pathetic!!!! You show such a strange hatred to mums and whole idea of parenthood, and created new concepts and meanings around this hate. This looks almost like hitlero style site. I cannot comprehend how can you be so spiteful and why to women that choose to have children, although you are yourself children of mothers that are just the same as the ones that you attacking. Moos.....baybee....that is so childish and sick! And i think you all like little never- to ? grow up children, and that?s why having kids scares you so much. This forum could be a perfect source of perfect psychology PhD thesis.....
sick ideology of never milked cows...mooooooooooo!!!!!!!

Jasonthunderpants · 30/07/2010 13:25

They are not sick just a little sad and perhaps jealous
I dont surf so it is like me joining a surfing chatroom and then going on a non surfering chat room and takeing the piss out of the surfers them with their wetsuits and boards

abshirley · 30/07/2010 13:28

I read one thread that actually made me feel a little bit sad. Just about how friends tend to drift apart when one of them falls pregnant and the childless person tends to be left out in the cold . Really have never looked at it from that viewpoint before. One of my sisters is childfree [partly through circumstances, partly through choice]. I can see where some of these posters are coming from although I'm not condoning the more extreme language .

SolidGoldBrass · 30/07/2010 13:35

FFS get over yourselves. Given the way in which childfree people are so frequently treated by breeders (nosy questions, condescencion, criticism which can be just as vitriolic as some of the threads on there), the fact that some of them choose to vent on an internet forum is both unsurprising and harmless.
I quite like the colourful language used. But if you don;t like it, don't read it. Go and do something else and don't anybody make yourself look utterly fucking stupid by running off whining to Authority about how They Must Be Stopped.

MorrisZapp · 30/07/2010 13:41

I don't want to click on the links but I tend to agree with SGB above.

I'm 'childfree' just now (not that it's relevant)and often wonder where all the vitriol on MN comes from - the worst of it always seems to be woman against woman stuff, about BF, CC, mad MILs and SILs, bridezillas, the evil OW, 'is it just me or is my best friend a bitch' etc etc etc.

Much of it seems loaded with misogyny to me, intolerance and judgy judging other people's choices.

Welcome to the internet. We're part of it and no different to the rest of it.

wukter · 30/07/2010 13:43

What are you talking about SGB? Who is running to Authority? We're basically calling them unpleasant. They're calling us unpleasant. An idle pastime for a friday afternoon.

megawoman · 30/07/2010 13:46

We all need to stop looking it confusing their statistics look here are the current ones:

Is it only me who thinks SGB needs to take a chill pill? If you like babies being called cunt nuggets and advocate women being raped and being run over by trucks because they dared to have something you don't want then I think you need to have a word with yourself.

I also object to being called a 'Breeder' its very rude, I'm not an animal, I don't breed. Nobody on this thread has said anything nearly as offensive as whats been written on that site. I have never seen a thread on mumsnet aimed at slagging off child-free people calling them cunt this and cunt that and wishing them rape and car accidents. Plus who is running to the authorities?

abshirley · 30/07/2010 13:58

Well said Morris zapp and SGB. The world is big enough for eveyone's opinions and experiences, not just 'the gospel according to Mumsnet'.

megapixels · 30/07/2010 14:00

I haven't seen that forum, and don't intend to, but I've seen a similar one called childfreebychoice I think some years ago. The irony of it is that there was a thread there where people were talking about their health, and it surprised me to see that a large number of the posters there couldn't have children. I thought that was interesting.

If people on these types of forums need constant validation for the choice they've made (or in some cases, had forced on) then let them get on with it. Even if that means slagging parents/mothers off, if that's how they deal with it, I don't really care. The vitriol is a bit shocking tbh, and I personally think that counselling is a better option, but it's a free country and they can do as they wish.

The one thread that offended me was where a woman was moaning about her best friend, who after vowing to be childfree had changed her mind and was now pregnant. Posters were sympathising with her and trying to brighten her up by all wishing for a miscarriage.

UnquietDad · 30/07/2010 14:02

They clearly have "issues". Just like anyone who claims to hate something and yet for some reason can't stop talking about it.

I can't stand dogs, and cannot for the life of me fathom why anyone would have one in the house - but I haven't set up doghaters.co.uk so I can spend all my online time whingeing about them.

Rockbird · 30/07/2010 14:02

Well said capricorn.

capricorn76 · 30/07/2010 14:04

If this is not sick then I don't know what is. I'm actually speechless and my eyes have been opened to just how much hate some people have in their hearts.

UQD, if you change your mind and do set up doghaters.com, I'll join.

tethersend · 30/07/2010 14:11

Oh. Too late

zippy79 · 30/07/2010 14:11

Their hate forum can't be doing much good for the old blood pressure and stress levels.

On a more serious note, that sort of hatred towards anyone for whatever reason is a bit

motherbeyond · 30/07/2010 14:13

lol privetdancer!!
twat splat and cunt maggot though? who th hell thinks these things up?
the thing that struck me most, apart from the bitterness...was the immaturity..they say baybee, chiyuld, famblee etc and you can just picture the whiney voice they use to say it..playground stuff

tethersend · 30/07/2010 14:14

There's even one for kittens

Petal02 · 30/07/2010 14:25

Tethersend: there's a "we hate kittens" website?????????? How on earth could anyone hate a kitten?????? I love my kittens so much that there aren't words to describe it!!

Another vote for doghaters.com.

I keep my anti-dog feelings to myself on the whole especially living in the cuntry where dogs are rife. My local pub feels more like a boarding kennel sometimes and a watching a dog lick its bum whilst eating my dry roast peanuts is just the limit.

I wonder why the childhaters.com lot reserve all of their vitriol for mothers and children. Why aren't they laying in to the men who father the children. That's just plain sexist that is.

pagwatch · 30/07/2010 14:55

Can we have smalldoghaters.com and kittensarefinebutcatsarejustsuperiorandunaffectionate.com and noisybirdsinthemorning.com
sqwaarky fuckers.

AccioPinotGrigio · 30/07/2010 14:55

If only they were just pointing and laughing. I'd go as far as to call it inciting hatred but I am prone to the melodramatic.
