Im pregnant and really dont think that i will be ready to be a mum. At the doctor i saw a leaflet about adoption and i am seriously thinking about the option. I havent told any one but when mentioned adoption in a conversation with my parents they both said that no way would there flesh and blood be adopted. I know its my choice but can they stop me? I really dont want to fall out with them over it Hmm

Ainsley why would you not terminate?

For an outsider looking in, it seems like your best option, but you are set against it. I don't understand why.

I hope your exam went well!

That sounds good about your mum. I have to admit I don't think I would have had my baby adopted had my dad not been vocal in saying he thought it was best, and I do believe it was best.

Does your mum want to effectively bring the baby up? If she does I think this would work well (my mum would have done this I bet) - but the two of you will have to be very clear about who's baby it is, if you see what I mean. The friend I mentioned earlier lived with her parents initially and they were VERY supportive but nonetheless they were very clear 'it's your baby.'

Your mum sounds like a good egg. It's a serious and difficult situation but not unmanageable. Xx

Aisley fabulous, good news. Glad you and your mum are off to the spa. Please do just Google and see if there are any things at the spa to avoid. EG any kind of tummy massage (obviously) but also things like saunas may not be a good idea. Just check things out. And enjoy your time with your mum. She sounds great to take you there, such a good idea.
