Brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts are my guilty pleasure when I go to the states. They are SO sweet and I definitely wouldn’t buy them if you could get them here…but I always bring a couple of boxes home

FussyPud · 23/07/2023 22:31

A fuck off huge jar of naproxen.

Or watermelon jolly ranchers, as per a pp.

TeddyFluff · 23/07/2023 22:36

You get them here now though.

I got a mouth ulcer last time I was there and really rate Kanka professional strength. Best thing I bought, used it loads since I've been back.

cherrypied · 23/07/2023 22:55

These are great!

Do they have anything like haribo?

OP, literally nothing is cheap in the USA these days, their cost of living crisis plus the poor exchange rate make it a very very expensive place for a Brit.

imbolic · 23/07/2023 23:03

Nalgene water bottles. They are half the price than in the UK and there's a much bigger selection of colours.

katscamel · 23/07/2023 23:17

Im in Canada and have discovered a great Sephora face wash powder. Sprinkle sone into your hand, add water and rub onto your face. Leave for a minute then wash off. Think there are 2 varieties.

Apologies for typos etc, phone screen has turned pink.....Still have 10 days of holiday to go arrrggghhhh

Hopelesscynic · 23/07/2023 23:19

I'd like one of those Giant Pretzels with the hot cheesy sauce :)
Also, cheesy fries/chips done with the above cheesy dip, not like they serve them here with cold grated cheese dumped on top - it's really not right!

Serenity45 · 23/07/2023 23:36

Sour patch kids sweets (family sized 1kg pack). Mine and DHS road trip sweet of choice as they really are pretty sour before the gummy sweetness kicks in...$6 in Walmart about £14 on Amazon

DyslexicPoster · 23/07/2023 23:37

Cheap converse from Century 21. However my last pair was £2 second hand from Vinted which saves on a flight.

According to an elderly couple in qd not so long ago, a a hot water bottle is a must, just in case it's cold.

Goldfish crackers

PegasusReturns · 24/07/2023 00:29

extra large bottles of Advil mini capsules

HighEndGrifters · 24/07/2023 00:33

Well in the UK you have autonomy over your body, not sure you get that in the US anymore.
