I loved the Nutter Butter bites when I was over. I've seen the bigger ones for sale over here (albeit at a crazy price) but not the Bites.

There's also something hideously addictive about the neon orange cheese dip you can buy in a can. Blush

I came home with massive bags of peanut butter M&Ms. They're easier to find here now but they still cost a lot. There are some types of M&M you don't easily find here.

I know they do massive ranges of Oreos that you can't get here either. They've got a special Mario Bros one right now too.

mondaytosunday · 24/07/2023 00:43

You mean Quincy Market, AKA Faneuil Hall Marketplace! A must go to for anyone visiting Boston.

VanillaImpulse · 24/07/2023 00:55

Secret deodorant sticks!
Big red cinnamon chewing gum

Bonfire23 · 24/07/2023 01:08

Tree hut scrubs if you like a body scrub that feels like you've been sand blasted (I love them!)

TinaYouFatLard · 24/07/2023 01:12

Definitely huge jars of Tylenol and Aleve (Naproxen).

FFSwhatisthis · 24/07/2023 01:24

I'll have a large tub of naproxen
(or better) please.

melatonin

proper hash browns

noodlezoodle · 24/07/2023 01:27

Burn cream with Lidocaine for sunburn, stings/itches etc. It's genius.

Underminer · 24/07/2023 01:28

Following with interest. We go every year and also get massive boxes of Q-Tips cotton buds as they are better than the ones here.

We also get blue jelly to bring back.

Maple Syrup in massive jugs.

PeopleAreWeird · 24/07/2023 01:31

Americans have an obsession with melatonin
You can get Melatonin chews here, the proper stuff is on prescription here for a reason

@cherrypied

You do know that it’s sweltering in the U.S. right now, don’t you?
I mean it’s terrible, awful, horrible here. I don’t know where in the States you’re coming to, but it’s HOT!
Like over 100F hot in many places.

Bring cool clothes. You won’t need a sweater or even long sleeves. Anywhere.

Newjobformoremoney · 24/07/2023 01:42

Oh my god I recently discovered that’s too @noodlezoodle and it’s a godsend. I might buy a couple to take back to the Uk

Im in Canada and have discovered a great Sephora face wash powder. Sprinkle sone into your hand, add water and rub onto your face. Leave for a minute then wash off. Think there are 2 varieties.

Apologies for typos etc, phone screen has turned pink.....Still have 10 days of holiday to go arrrggghhhh

@katscamel

Do you mean the brand Dermatalogica? You can get it at Sephora.
Little white bottle w/ a grey top?
That stuff is fabulous.
Expensive, but fabulous.

So, so good! Between that and Neosporin I reckon you can manage 90% of common ailments Grin

What about lidocaine creams?
I'm in the US I have huge bottles of melatonin and naproxen in my bedside table. Can someone tell me why they are not sold in the UK?

Nanaof1 · 24/07/2023 03:08

Not sure if they have Cheez-Its in the UK but they started making Cheez-It Duos here and they are addictive. The two cheese ones are SO good and the other is the Cheez-It with jalapeno on one cracker and cheddar on the other. A bit of a kick but addicting.

Azo is a godsend!

SummerSun04 · 24/07/2023 03:15

Why would you need large amounts of paracetamol? What dose are people buying of Melatonin? I've shipped it very cheaply but it doesn't do anything for me.

twilightcafe · 24/07/2023 03:35

Prices here are astronomical right now. A box of cereal costs $10

mathanxiety · 24/07/2023 04:29

cherrypied · 23/07/2023 22:55

These are great!

Do they have anything like haribo?

There is actual haribo...

Life Savers gummies are nice.

I suggest Jiffy Corn Muffin mix, which you'll find in a retro looking blue box in any supermarket. It's dead cheap and the muffins are delicious.

mathanxiety · 24/07/2023 04:34

What??

Bellagio40 · 24/07/2023 04:37

Desperate to know what you suggested @mathanxiety!

vernonb · 24/07/2023 04:56

Advil

Oh lucky you!
I’m in the San Joaquin Valley and it was 108 today.

Milk2SugarsAndAShotOfYourFinestValium · 24/07/2023 05:37

Bactine spray with lidocaine. And all other meds PPs have said.

Also whatever seasonal Flipz (chocolate pretzels) are available! 🤤
