just planting some raspberries, then once I've harvested these later I'll only have 278 to get my Mastery Sign

how do you get cash without actually buying it with real money?? have only got 7 cash

you get $1 every time you move up a level

but i'm on level 26 and have never had 26 cash

they only started giving the free $ for levelling up several months after they launched the game on FB - so if you started fairly early on in the game life you won't have got it - they didn't do it retrospectively (so those on the higher levels didn't get it credited to them - they started as $1 like those starting on level 1)

AAAGH my sharing is still not working, even if I make sure I'm not doing anything else that might interfere with it. Is anyone else using farmville.com but still getting their fb messages on? do I need to go in through fb instead (it hasn't been working much this evening)?

Got my second mastery on FV - yeah!! Squash.

There are 42 different crops and I have 2 masteries and 10 with no star at all (although I am all planted up to get a first star for corn in a couple of days). Must have 30 different crops with one star. Getting there, slowly.

Desertgirl - I'm on 308k with corn and fruit trees to harvest and about 8k in the barn. Don't think I will expand today and possibly not tomorrow as DS2 has an Inset day and and we are going out so I won't be able to maximise those harvests. Perhaps I should send him out by himself so I can stay home and warm and farm.

On the other hand, I won't be able to do much farming if I am banged up for neglect - he is only 6!

Rantapplause - if your DH wants to add me as a neighbour as well he can. I'm not fussy.

Of course if you want to maintain your advantage I suppose you might want to keep that offer to yourself.

I am going back to work tomorrow after the christmas break and am already having withdrawal symptons!

Ah well niecie, everything I have is newly planted, my barn is empty and I am back to work tomorrow so think you might expand before me neglect or not!

I have got my raspberry mastery 21,000 raspberries planted and harvested in the last week or so

I'm now starting on blackberries.................eeek - need 26,250 of those in total

So I now have

out of 42 crops

12 @ 3 stars (Mastered)
1 @ 2 stars (will master in the next 2 days)
2 @ 1 star

the rest I haven't started yet/got any stars

Have decided due to not being sure when online again am going for longer crops on FV so

in 2 days will have artichokes mastery (no.10)

and in 2 days will have first star for eggplant and daffs

other crops on 1 star: aloe vera, peppers, grapes, tomatoes,

thanks - have planted another load of raspberries (as had 2 hours to "fill" while I wait for my first load of blackberries before planting my overight pumpkins) - just to see if there's any difference once you've got the Mastery..........

Where do I go on farmville to see how many stars I have got on which crops?

I can only see how many ribbons I have for doing certain things.

one star crops cont: carrots, coffee, sunflowers, ghost, chillie, blackberries, green tea (got today) sugar cane, lilies, onions,

crops with 2 stars (ie going for mastery): artichokes (will get in 2 days) red tulips, asparagus.

Mastery signs got:

blueberries
pumpkin
squash
soy beans
rice
strawberries
pink roses
cranberries
peas

sparkle - when you go to the market to buy the seeds you'll see 3 stars, just above "buy" (just under the picture of the crop) - if you've "got" a star it will be coloured in yellow, if you hover your mouse above the stars a little thing will pop up telling you how many you've harvest towards whichever star you're working on and how many you need for it.

this table tells you how many you need for each star on each crop if you want to know how many are needed in total

ALFA - think you just get the £££ iyswim as I always over plant when going for mastery incase I have made a mistake

well I'm wondering if what ever it is only happens when you plant a new lot...........so doing a trial (figured I may as well get the ploughing XP if nothing else in the spare 2 hrs LOL)

what does mastery give you , apart from a sign?

you get XP and cash (like with the ribbons) for each one........it doesn't appear that you get anything extra (ie more xp for harvesting - but I'm just doing a test to confirm that)
