Bella - you don't get any XP for raspberries , do you mean 24x24? If so it's not been unlocked by the developers of the game yet.
ZW - tips
make sure you visit all your friends for treasure hunting,
start getting some animals bred - you can breed 3 at a time without having to have a breeding specialist - don't breed the ones you can adopt from the feed - they're expensive to get the upgrades for - and you can increase the number you have by collecting off the feed,
try and keep a window open with the zoo (even just the home page of the game) open, and go back every so often to keep the zoo day running, it will mean you're money keeps going up even when you're not actually playing it.
Try and get lots of the cheaper animals, the more animals you have the more visitors you get
Have a play around with the ticket price to see which gives the maximum profit - if you need to get a visitors achievement you can just drop it to $1 to get the achievement and put it straight back up again
buy LOTS and LOTS of maintenance workers and kiosk managers now while they're cheap - you will need a lot as the game progresses, and they get more and more expensive, also get a few vets as well while they're cheap.
