My stupid sleb crush is not going away

And shows no signs of doing so. I'm wondering if I have a problem... Or if I have actually regressed to being 13.

(I mean the crush is stupid, not the sleb. She seems very intelligent. Functionally. And charismatic and magnetic. Brrrr.)

who is Sarah Harding? Is she on CBeebies, or is that someone else

UnquietDad · 07/10/2009 23:55

Tiger - she is the fierce and feisty blonde one in Girls Aloud.

ok - so you've got a crush on her, is she the primeval one or is that some other pop group girlie. she's rather cute.

UnquietDad · 07/10/2009 23:58

No, that Primeval one is Hannah wotsit who used to be in S Club 7.

OP posts:
Megglevache · 07/10/2009 23:59

Oh god don't give him ideas

UnquietDad · 08/10/2009 00:00

Actually was it S Club 7 or S Club Junior? No, it was the Saturdays girl who was in S Club Junior, wasn't it... Frankie..

for all the Dads out there and anyone who doesn't know who Sarah Harding is

UnquietDad · 08/10/2009 00:01

wahey

OP posts:
TigerBitesAgain · 08/10/2009 00:03

Calm down dear.

She looks like the primeval one, a bit, though. Are you sure they're not all the same person?

UQD - you do know rather TOO MUCH about these popsters.

UnquietDad · 08/10/2009 00:05

When I can name all the members of the Saturdays without looking them up, then I'll be worried.

Seriously, though, she does prey on my mind to a possibly unhealthy extent. Obviously there is a solution to this, but as it is about as likely as winning the lottery, I'll welcome others...

If it makes you feel any better I've got a bit of an adolescent crush on the guy that plays the older bro in 'Wizards of Waverley Place' on Disney channel

TigerBitesAgain · 08/10/2009 00:09

Well, UQD, there is probly a very quick solution to your immediate need but frankly I doubt anyone here wants to delve into that murky area.

UnquietDad · 08/10/2009 00:20

I'm thinking more long-term...

OP posts:
TigerBitesAgain · 08/10/2009 00:25

well you just have to accept that this is a mere fantasy in fantasy land then, I guess. Like my Brian Ferry one, although other end of the celeb age range....

Sadly a MNetter seriously asked me who he was, not so long ago. oh dear.

LovelyDear · 08/10/2009 00:39

my worst (best) crush ever was on ringo starr . i cried on christmas day because i loved him so much.

UnquietDad · 08/10/2009 10:14

Thanks everyone. I am trying (very)...

BiteOfFun · 08/10/2009 10:21

A role-model for our times...

I note she seems to have shoved an uncomfortable under-wired contraption down the seat, which is always bliss after a long day...I usually wait til I get to a couch rather than do it in the taxi, mind

UnquietDad · 08/10/2009 14:51

Not the best shot ever, that one!

OP posts:
southeastastra · 08/10/2009 14:54

it's helps if you find a crappy picture of them, luckily john cusack has a bad one i just found today .

also reading his twitter it putting me off

UnquietDad · 08/10/2009 14:59

Although I already know she is a drunken bad girl (and allegedly, well, ahem...) so that doesn't really open my eyes...

Plus I found this, so...

BiteOfFun · 08/10/2009 15:02

Off for a spot of grave-digging then?

I would worry if I were you, UQD...

Reality - oh, god! No! Really? Blimey.. ahem... okay then.

BOF - that's a St Trinian's location picture. Yes, my favourite 28-year-old is playing a piece of jailbait. I'm guessing it's when they dig for the gold at the end.

(Someone suggested the old joke about confusing a blonde by giving her six shovels and telling her to take her pick... but I wasn't going to go there.)

maybe it's an age thing, you're 40 like me iirc. it's something that happens to us at that age , does your dw know the extent of your lustfulness?

ProfessorLaytonIsMyLoveSlave · 08/10/2009 16:47

How would UnquietMum look with a platinum crop, if you didn't tell her why you were suddenly convinced that it was the style for her?
