I just do not understand the attraction with David Beckham

There are some men that I don't really find fanciable myself, but I can see why others would, Brad Pitt for example. But I just cannot see it with David Beckham.

I have just voiced this opinion to my administrator, who looked at me as if I was clearly insane.

I don't geddit, see.

Nope. I agree. There's just nothing there is there?
But then I tend to fancy educated men with a bit of personality.

Lizzylou · 12/06/2009 14:41

Have you seen his new poster for Armani?
Honestly, phwoaar, wouldn't be bothered about his voice or intellect, but he is beautiful.

TBCoalman · 12/06/2009 14:43

He is covered in scribble and looks sulky.

ClaireDeLoon · 12/06/2009 14:43

Nope, nor me. Now George Clooney.......

poopscoop · 12/06/2009 14:43

was just about to say the same as ruby. Nice looking but seems thick as shit when he speaks.

muffle · 12/06/2009 14:44

No I don't get it either. I like craggy men and men with big noses/features - I can't be doing with "pretty" men - Jude Law is another one I would kick out of bed. Becks' weedy voice just makes it 100x worse IMO!

daftpunk · 12/06/2009 14:46

he's not bad..got better as he's got older.

HuffwardlyRudge · 12/06/2009 14:48

He's not my type in the slightest, but I can see that he is utterly beautiful. Simply stunning. He looks like a greek god or something. Don't fancy him, but can see why people do.

Pinkjenny · 12/06/2009 14:48

I think possibly it is to do with his voice. And he is obviously really vain, which I wouldn't like either. I do, however, quite fancy Jude Law.

The posters for Armani leave me cold.

He is rich???

Pinkjenny · 12/06/2009 14:50

Huffwardly - you see, I can do that with Brad Pitt, but just not Beckham.

Don't get me wrong though, I would make a fantastic WAG.

OH GOD I LOVE BECKHAM.

In fact, until Ashley Banjo came on the scene, he was my number one pin up. He's so dumb and pretty.

But I don't like his greased over hair in those Armani photos.

I mean, come on

TwoIfBySea · 12/06/2009 20:03

Look at him - you're wanting conversation? Come on!

notnowbernard · 12/06/2009 20:07

HOw can you not fancy David Beckham?

You're all mentalists

Sidge · 12/06/2009 20:07

LOL TwoIf

He is so pretty. I'd shag him but wouldn't hang about to chat over breakfast as I imagine he's dull as fuck.

sagacious · 12/06/2009 20:10

ooooo I so would

I don't care if hes stoopid

Hes just edible

tribpot · 12/06/2009 20:11

The trouble is, even for a fantasy shag, I can't imagine going with someone who can barely string a sentence together. I'm sure he's a very nice person and all that, and he is good looking, but he speaks and you just think "oh dear".

I imagine DB is probably reading this and gutted that out of the 3+ billion women in the world there are a few who wouldn't shag him, I dare say he'll get over it. But really. No.

cookielove · 12/06/2009 20:11

he is horrible, and the only attraction i can find is the money

notnowbernard · 12/06/2009 20:12

He wouldn't need to say a word

Problem solved

PresidentTaylor · 12/06/2009 20:12

I don't fancy him at all. Once I had see him open mouth/speak for the first time then thet image of him is there, even in armani pics. Does seem like quite a nice bloke though.

tribpot · 12/06/2009 20:14

No, I would still know. Even if he said nothing.

This is obviously in the entirely likely scenario that David, bored with Vic and all that, comes to my own door and says "hello tribpot pls can we have an affair". I simply would have to say no under the circs, and I'm sure this would be a bitter blow to him.

Saltire · 12/06/2009 20:16

David beckham? Who's he then?
