why do i always miss you coming on here ? Your house with its fire sounds so lovely ,my grandparents and great grandaprents always had an open fire and i have happy memories of making toast over the fire with a toasting fork.I also used to like playing with the coal, especialy if found a bit which was a bit sticky ! and the patterns of the flames i could watch for hours.

hi

Not sure what to say to each of you, as I haven't much time. Family here so I have turned into a hotelier. Must not grumble, it is nice to have them here. 2 days in 5 days left. Who's counting?

Tnog, if you get your thinking hat on, not a posh hotel, and not travel lodge, something in the the middle, can be small. Would love to visit, but you know I won't, only because it is nice the way things are. Online, pen pals as such, with all of you. Anyway as to a visit, somewhere with some soul (like the fire, see calgary below) and outside of Dublin, could be 30 mins to 90 min hour drive away. We'd take the little car on the ferry to get there.

If I had a choice between 5 star Dubia or a family run, Greek apartment with only cold running water and ceiling fan, I'd do the Greek option .... everytime. Does that help?

We all stayed here in Calgary, Mull, for my 40th, it was one of the nicest 4 days I have spent in my life. www.calgary.co.uk

I don't have any scafolding, I could send some lego?

mummylin2495 · 01/02/2009 14:53

ml it is slightly stressful with many words unsaid. I know I am pasting over the cracks and hoping no-one peeks inside. The dcs have had a lovely weekend with my sis and that makes it all worth while keeping it in.

I feel I might explode though if I am pushed too far. Lets hope that doesn't happen.

mummylin2495 · 01/02/2009 17:39

yes i hope not too wotz ,it must be very dificult for you.

wotzy · 01/02/2009 17:55

It's nice to know I have a little space here on MN to vent, thanks ml.

I'll have to make sure I keep login out. As she's using this computer to check her email.
