Is it just me or is this ad the most irritating perfume ad ever ever ever

"I am a Dancer. I Love To Dance'

Kidman trying to look like fwightened ickle faun and just ends up looking like a scary nutter. She's just so FAKE.

lol, I cringe for her when I see it. It is awful. She must have felt like an eejit when filming it, and if she didn't then she must be as mad as she looks these days.

She is probably a good actor but because her face is frozen with Botox we will never no.

I'm glad she like to dance because I like to turn over when this add comes on.

That is an annoying ad I agree.

Not too keen on getting 'the London look' either. What the feck is all that about?

i find the keira knightly one worse, she looks so smug, 'look at me i can starve myself so i look like a walking cadver i am so sexy.'

One of the things to hate about Christmas is that they drag that stupid Chanel advert out and it seems to be on TV all the time! I wonder how many people have been put off buying the perfume by her stupid breathy fake voice. Ridiculous advert.

Also off-puttingly smug, IMO, is Keeley Hawes doing Boots stuff. That smug arch smile just makes me want to throw things at the telly.

All the above is true, but there were pictures of Kidman in the Daily Mail with her hair going grey at the front, she looked brilliant! I may almost forgive the perfume ad.

I've not seen the ad but Nicole Kidman always looks like such a cold and aloof person to me, I can't imagine being inspired to buy anything she advertises TBH.

She shouldn't talk, I agree.
But the cinematography in the full length version is rather magical I think
(Plus directed by Baz Lurhmann, who can do no wrong in my world)

oh the art direction is stunning - just wish it was someone lovely in the lead role...I think Scarlett Johansson would be a good replacement...

ok, they may be irritating, but as adverts they work - you have all remembered the product connected with both NK and KH - an admans dream!

I like it but then I love Baz Luhrmann and Moulin Rouge especially so it appeals to me.

Oh, I love that ad, I often watch the long version on youtube, there is also a film about the making of it.

Oh no Crushwitheyeliner...I HATE Scarlett Johannsen. So much more irritating than Nicole Kidman.

How can NK say she's had nothing done to her face. She looks totally different to when she started out. I liked her then. Look at her lips, nose, forehead, hair etc in Dead Calm here

Compared to now

I couldn't STAND her in Moulin Rouge. I love Baz Luhrman movies, but he totally messed up on that one. She's so unsexy (especially if you compare her to the brief appearance by Kylie as the Green Fairy). She was good in the movie about the psycho weather lady, but otherwise ... so annoying.

Rodrigo Santoro! Mmmmm! I would buy anyhting he suggested! He is lovely!

Yeah, I must have vacantly watched this ad 100s of times and only recently got to grips with the storyline.

Is this it? She's a famous Hollywood actress who goes AWOL, 'pals' up with some 'everyday joe' who doesn't happen to know who she is.

She 'loves to dance' they kiss and although she doesn't want to, she does eventually meet her 'contractual obligations' and returns to promote a film on the red carpet. Leaving behind only the aroma of her 'perfume'. Whereupon he realises who she is? Yes?????????

Previous to my 'eureka' moment, the ad was just lots of irritating words and images with Nicole looking completely bonkers at the end.
