It's great news, I'm so pleased for her and the rest of the family and I absolutely love the name Poppy.

i am so pleased that she has had a second daughter.Its a nice mix she has ,3 boys and 2 girls ,really lovely.

I need to do some sorting for the morning so I'll say goodnight.

good morning to one and all ,lovely day here,bright and sunny,makes the trees look great,but its freezing cold.Think its a day to be wearing thick jumpers and warm boots down here ! I agree with you craggy ,its so lovely about sparkles.

it has now turned even colder here and just had to add a cardigan to keep warm !!!this to me is "stew" weather.

I have got to do a Hallowe'en box (hidden things inside) and tell as story about a witch.

The children have to put their hand in the box (ages 5 - 11) and touch things inside which go along with the story.

" the witches chin was hairy and rough - see if you can feel it?" they have to put their hand in the box (covered in black bin liner) and feel the thing inside (I have a hole and place things in it from the back) - so a scrubbing brush for chin etc.. I did this a about 2 years ago and in a drunken flurry suggested I would do it again for a party on Friday.

Any other ideas welcome for things to put in the box. I have used cherry tomatoes (cold) for sheep eyes (making a magic potion) and sticky spagetti for dead worms...please add.. I have till Friday and can't remember what I did last time....or find something on interweb for me to copy. I am running out of time.

OHHH and I am going as a Zoombie so no make up, rough rags and little effort on my part!

In her bedroom her cat sleeps on the pillow (soft toy for the witches cat), the floor is covered in old crusty smelly socks (chamois leather pieces and bits of wool)....umm - the story is coming now.....

have you got time to make a jelly ? you could mix it all up when set and say its a dead frog !!!

pasta shapes (small bones for the potion) GREAT

you could also make some very thick custard for something

brillo pad ,or wire scrubber for something

I am going to make a jelly and put inside something similar to haribo jelly snakes in it. Lime and orange jelly layers of course!

i going to ask dh and also look round and see what is around the house !!

collect some hair from the brushes in the house = thin wisps of pixie hair gathered from the forest (more magic potion stuff).......
