Today I am wearing some wide leg trousers with a 3/4 sleeve chunky cardi. Do you think brown trousers and olive green cardi go?

I'm not sure why I had read it, I don't think it was bad. I think cinders said she wanted a break. ml has said on other thread that she would email cinders.

This thread is just a lot slower than other which I like. I was getting very confused on other one and I can tell you it doesn;t take much these days.

Do you think I will be mistaken for a early Chritmas Tree decoration?

I hope all is ok with CC.

Strange to have the posts removed

CC, if you're reading this.. well...hope you're ok.

Wotz, yes to olive green and brown, very autumnal, darlink.

Sounds lovely.

This thread is nice and easy.

schwotz · 17/10/2008 16:40

And I can come on a read it and not post anything witty or helpful

which I like and pop back hours later and its the same

I know it's great isn't it?

Are you mad busy shuffling bits of paper and tapping your pen?

My forehead has strangely erupted today and resembles Mt.Versuvius.

Luckily I have a fringe.

Here, Wotzy, you should have a look at The New Yorker Magazine website.

Tis rather good and you can listen to short stories as you work, the woman that introduces the readings has a lovely voice and I find it all very feel-good.

Today I am wearing a black woolen polo neck knee length dress which is kind of fitted on top around the bosom area [titters] and then flares out, with plum coloured tights and brown knee length boots.

schwotz · 17/10/2008 17:55

I like that site, content, layout, graphics. Already been on it 15 minutes. Oven should be hot now for dds pizzas! Will have another look. Thanks

Lovely graphics, Have you seen the slide show? Show people?

I can't find audio short stories....

wanders to kitchen while applying a quick retouch of this months must have Rimmel pumpkin orange (very bright) lipgloss

read a short story 'Sleep'
opposites and all..very good...
very good - now to put taxi hat on

I will put on some nice flat leather pumps - in all season. Red pumps brighten up a casual outfit with jeans and easy to slip off when visiting a friends house. No fluffy overshoes required.

Forehead looking fairly normal this morning but strange blotches have appeared on left cheek.

I was so tired last night I fell asleep under a throw on the sofa... just managing to open one eye to see Liam in Corrie being mown down...went back to sleep..staggered to bed at 10 and woke up at 6!

Fashion talk, erm..

apparently Benetton are doing good things to promote a partnership with singer Youssou N'Dour [whoever he/she is]called Africa Works.

Guess it means ethically produced clothes, all the info is on benetton.com.

if you're interested

Weather is dry with the promise of autumn sunshine so I'm going out to tackle the garden at some point, lots of hacking and raking.

Will be wearing old jeans, dh's jumper with leather patches on elbow and Hunter wellies, oh, and one of those leather aviator style hats

Trés chic, non?

schwotz · 18/10/2008 10:07

that; s great I have to run around lots today so I am thinking a skirt to keep legs free flowing

But which length

have a good day, it should be blustery, just poped out for 15 mins and it is here. Catch up later and I'll look at the website too.

OP posts:
schwotz · 18/10/2008 10:07

OP posts:
Tn0g · 18/10/2008 10:10

lol at darlink

be careful that your skirt doesn't fill up like a barrage balloon in the blustery wind

I might spot you off the coastline floating by...

Tn0g · 18/10/2008 10:13

I'm off to grapple with the Rhoddendron and to dig a big hole.

Digging holes is a great way to clear the head

Do you know anything about second hand violins?
What should I look for? May start a thread.. One of the things on todays to do list is to get on. Not sure 4 stirngs and a bow is always good of course.

OP posts:
Tn0g · 18/10/2008 10:24

I don't know anything about violins, except that if they're played badly it can go thrrough you like nails on a blackboard.

Which one of the girls will be learning?

One of Gabe's friends plays and is pretty scratchy, every time I've heard him practice my teeth feel like this >

Tn0g · 18/10/2008 10:26

G takes his grade 1 piano in a few weeks

I hope to God he passes

practice has become a nightmare with me shrieking at him to bloody well sit down and do your scales

schwotz · 18/10/2008 10:45

I wanted her to do guitar
she's got one and had some lessons
but she gave up piano last year after her grade 1.
so thought she'd try something else
dd1 has now given up piano after doing her grade 3, which she passed but lost interest. Its so hard, I ds sticks with it, its so nice to hear them play the piano. I must get my two to play again, we still have it in the house and I just had it tuned before dd did her grade 3.

OP posts:
Tn0g · 18/10/2008 12:27

Like you, I love the piano and especially love to hear it being played here in the house.

Dh plays, although he has a rather inflated idea of how well.

He's a bit more like Les Dawson hitting the wrong notes [in dh's case not on purpose for comic effect but because he's a bit..well... duff] than Joolz Holland.

It's hard work encouraging children to do extra cirrucular isn't it?

Hard to fit it all in on top of homework and getting the balance where they have time to just veg out and loll around.

I just feel like my head doesn't stop spinning sometimes.

Craggy · 18/10/2008 12:41

Oh an erasy thread how coll!

I like easy.

Easy is fine.

Craggy · 18/10/2008 12:43

Tn0g · 18/10/2008 12:47
