I hope his wife sees the light and can free herself from this revolting piece of shit.

yummyscummymummy01 · Today 14:40

Solidarity for the women involved. Delighted he’ll be facing prison time.

DarkAngel23 · Today 14:40

I was pleased when the news alert popped up. Obviously not a good verdict for all the women involved though. I do feel for his wife and kids though. Hopefully Laura divorces him quietly and can find some way for her and their children to move on.

Crunchymum · Today 14:40

I am surprised, not because I thought for a second he was innocent but because I thought he'd get away with it.

Sorry to the women who didn't get the justice they deserve but Amen to him being found guilty on some charges. He has been remanded in custody, sentencing on Monday - let's see if he is truly going to be held accountable? The cynic in me wonders if he'll get the maximum term for rape?

Spaniels4Eva · Today 14:41

Very telling that he was remanded in custody.

I only hope that Laura's family can now de-programme her and get her away from his fake religion and brain washing.

He's a very dangerous man.

I hope he gets jail time

He will. He is guilty of rape.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · Today 14:42

Apparently further allegations are still being investigated

boxgoog · Today 14:44

I thought he was going to walk, I’m so pleased with this verdict, although disappointed that he is only found guilty on some of the charges.

LizzieSiddal · Today 14:44

So bloody relieved, he’s utter scum. And very dangerous.

The judge said he should expect a “substantial prison sentence”. Yippee!!

Two other rape allegations are with the CPS to see if he should be charged, this includes a 16 year old who was picked up from school to be taken to his house!!

He will. He is guilty of rape.

Which doesn't automatically mean jail time, sadly. There is no minimum sentencing time for rape. See https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/may/21/boys-convicted-of-get-non-custodial-sentences-as-judge-says-they-should-not-be-criminalised-unnecessarily

The judge has said today that he’s going to prison.

hewasflirtingwithbeverleymacca · Today 14:46

Yes but only because I thought he was going to get away with it .

secretrocker · Today 14:48

Prison time and further charges to come.
A good day.

caffeineanddryshampoo · Today 14:48

Very relieved to hear that's happened.
My thoughts go to all the women involved and his poor children.

Police are investigating more rape allegations against Brand which does not surprise me in the slightest.

Craftysue · Today 14:50

I had a horrible feeling that he was going to get away with it so I'm hugely relieved for his victims and I hope the verdicts bring them some comfort.
I notice that the police are appealing for any other victims to come forward, so this may not be the last we'll hear about it.

TurquoiseDress · Today 14:50

Excellent news

I was worried he may walk free

devildeepbluesea · Today 14:50

Remanded in custody. Quite right. No special treatment for any rapist, thank you.

tinytemper66 · Today 14:50

Good and more have come forward. Glad he is held until sentencing on Monday.

Pocushocuspocus · Today 14:50

Has a date been set for sentencing?

Has a date been set for sentencing?

Just googled. 9th Nov.

JeffLebowski · Today 14:53

Good. I hope all the other grubby celebs who have been up to this sort of shit for years are feeling very nervous right now.

HowHaveYouFoundThis · Today 14:55

Thank goodness for that ! Thank you jury 🙏🏻

DoubleShotEspresso · Today 14:55

Very pleased and reassured he has been denied bail. Well done to the prosecution and the judge. I am so sad for the women whose testimonies were not upheld, but hope they feel they have seen some justice at least.

RB's barrister should hang hiss head in shame, some of the questioning was abhorrent and has no place in a 2026 courtroom.

Have been reading of other pending allegations overseas and in the UK, the fact RB tried and failed to delay these being heard is very telling and I guess fuel for the judge's decision to deny bail.

I hope LB's Dad has already made contact with the top divorce lawyers and counsellors to ensure she and his grandchildren never have to see this animal ever again.

That was very different though. It was wrong, but to do with their age.
Brand has been remanded in custody and told he faces a "significant custodial term".

giddyboo · Today 14:57

Hes not laughing now about degrading women. Ive always thought hes vile and about as funny as a prolapse. Arrogant pig.
