Here we have a perfect example of “Grifters Remorse”

👇A film Reform’s Andrea Jenkyns posted on X, after lunch with Paoli Zampolli, at a posh London restaurant (bet he payed)

Uh oh..here she’s got Grifters Remorse👇after hearing he’s frequently mentioned in Epstein files, instead of checking him out

https://bsky.app/profile/paddyopatrick.bsky.social/post/3mz6uakolvc2k

Andrea Jenkyns since deleted the film & posted an announcement to try to exonerate herself

The fact he was a pal of Trump’s, and Trump being a rapist and pedo and heavily featured in Epstein files, didn’t bother her at all until she got found out and then suddenly got ..

So "as a woman and a mother" she would not have met him, but as a grifting piece of shit she did.

Sharp eyed non-dim readers will note the lack of a question mark in the preceding sentence.

Not so sharp readers or the dim witted will froth and start with the abusive messages. They probably already had before the text was deleted.

Exactly, she was only sorry that she’d been found out. 😐

The right are losing their heads over an apology. Don't look back unless it is victorious.

Because it's something they can't really wind back in public, isn't it ?

It is really odd why they're so upset. Burnham has ruled out cash reparations.

https://democracyforsale.substack.com/p/revealed-more-than-30-senior-tories

More than 30 senior Conservatives are named in newly released records of companies referred to the government’s controversial Covid PPE ‘VIP lane’ back in 2020, following a five-year fight by Democracy for Sale to force the government to divulge the information.

The documents identify hundreds of businesses – and the politicians, ministers, senior civil servants and other figures who recommended them for the ‘VIP lane’ to lucrative government Covid contracts.

Among those named are eight members of Boris Johnson’s cabinet, Sarah Ferguson and the banking giant Santander.

Four of those cabinet ministers in the documents had not previously been named: then foreign secretary Dominic Raab, justice secretary Robert Buckland, Welsh secretary Simon Hart, and housing secretary Robert Jenrick, who is listed only as a ‘possible’ referrer.

It's not odd at all. It's throttling the air supply which they use to blow their bollocks up to look big.

They know they can't put "undo the apology the woke left issued" into a manifesto. They can't even suggest it as a policy. I mean that can try, but they know it won't win them any more support. Certainly not enough to outweigh what support it risks.

TL;DR it's neutralising one potential culture war bunfight. A strategic decision. Now why would Labour be thinking strategically ? And moreover what has changed to prompt this rather uncharacteristic approach ??

DuncinToffee · Yesterday 11:26

Nothing more woke than a king formally apologising.

Nothing harder to undo either.

If you like cold revenge, you can offset it against that cunt Boris Johnson lying to the Queen and forcing here to break the law. Goose and gander spring to mind.

Only I can see Charles tacitly approving of his governments actions here.
