Been talking about that over on the Iran war thread, and I came up with a foil hat idea.
I don't think his bunker busters can get through the Iranian mountain. Someone said it will " only" be tactical nukes. But nope, I looked up the nuke test data and all that, and it needs to be a lot bigger than tactical.
Someone said the US has bunker buster nukes. And that was an ah moment. Because they were developed in the 90s2000s. So they will not have been tested. And guess who was wanting to restart nuke testing end of last year.... months after he bombed the Iranian mountain.
Hmmmm.
Anyway. It would have to be a big nuke, and one that buries itself a bit before the boom. So masses of fallout. So much fallout in fact, that conventional nukes are designed to explode above ground, to minimize fallout.
That's a head twisting thought. Because not only would it be a nuke, but it would also be the worst sort of nuke. One that would create loads of fallout, to spend years wandering around the stratosphere as it looks for a nice place to drop onto.
