Jinglinghellsbells who has gone by similar user names, I think that was a Xmas related name change. A fantastic source of menopause related information , I've seen them help many posters besides myself. Grateful they take the time to answer so many queries. Has been far more useful than my GP.

BertieBotts! A goldmine of car seat advice and her posts elsewhere are always helpful and non-judgemental. Some others who have already been mentioned too.

I joined in the mid 2000s and remember the site feeling cliquey and some posters have conversations/in jokes with eachother on threads and ignoring newbies. One poster "Cod" sticks out... posters would suck up to them even though they were the most unfunny, dickhead poster on here.

I joined MN way back in 2006, and then it was a much smaller place, so much easier to recognise posters (and people didn't name change as much).

I do recognise a few posters these days (other than on my own threads), but mostly the ones who post about specific things (OhYouBadBadKitten weather, RedToothbrush politics, PigletJohn plumbing etc)

There aren't that many mumsnetters I'd like to have met in person but AnyFucker was definitely one of them. She was fantastic - firm when it was called for but sympathetic and supportive when needed. For some reason I always used to picture her as Maggie Smith in her 40s.

I didn't always agree with SolidGoldBrass, either, but she was also someone who would call a spade a fucking spade when needed.

None. I’ve been on here for 20 years and I don’t notice or care about posters nor their histories. I don’t notice usernames and I’d hope that’s across the board.

Flosime .. often on style and beauty but pops up in other places.. always very measured and thoughtful.

I don't take that much notice of usernames, so I wouldn't notice if a regular poster left.
Nobody would notice me leaving because I name change regularly.

Passive aggressive use of the kiss blowing emoji always speaks volumes.
