I’m lovely to my neighbors always have been

i just don’t want any more asylum seekers in the uk wandering around like they own the place

if they must be allowed in …
process them off shore or in military camps where they can’t leave and can’t murder and rape women and young kids

Where are asylum seekers ‘wandering around like they own the place’ - how do you identify that they are indeed asylum seekers?

Where do you stop deciding they’re asylum seekers - after acceptance of their claim? When they’re citizens? How do you know which is which? Do you check their visas?

Asylum seekers are not one homogenous group - they are individual people - they have hopes, dreams, and often great grief for their homeland - all have a story - maybe try listening to the individuals and seeing them as people - human beings - like everyone else.

Let alone the people who might be reporting you to everyone and anyone. The police might even visit. That is the way things are now. People are arrested for tweets are arrested and even jailed and illegal immigrants are let off' given state housing and state money.

You’ll be glad to know that illegal immigrants are not allowed to access housing, benefits, work and only angel care in the NHS then.

So the explosives were not viable .
How strange !
Was it a dummy run ?
See where the weaknesses are ??

You might get a visit from the police. It's like you are the dirt beneath their feet and the politicians. There is such a huge breakdown in society now with profound distrust of the State that I see a civil war coming. Hope you're reading this GCHQ. I am not likely to go on a rampage with bombs or a machine gun.

But a doctor didn’t murder her did they.
Oh the sister forgives him that’s alright then.

It doesn’t even seem like the sister’s stance is all-forgiving either. I’ve just googled and that’s what it says:

Following the conviction of the attacker, Rhiannon Whyte’s sister, Alexandra (Alex) Whyte, did explicitly state: “Many have tried to imply this is about immigration, but these are the choices of one man, not an ethnic group.”
While she rejected targeting a whole ethnic group, her position has evolved into a direct political campaign regarding systemic government failures. She has since publicly criticised the government on platforms like GB News for withholding data on crimes committed by foreign nationals, and her mother has partnered with political organisations to demand tighter controls to stop unvetted individuals from arriving via illegal crossings.

The stable doors are wide open and the horse has long bolted.

Because you’re very upset and sound verging on hysterical about this - it’s really not good for you.

You can’t have read many threads on immigration as I’m open that I live opposite an asylum hotel - they’re more than welcome here and I actively will stand outside that hotel to protect it from right wing protestors and auditors.

I recognise nothing all over the media and here about how terrible the folk in the hotel are - truly do not.

Trump lied to try and increase his approval rating and gain support.

This forum is so racist is it not?

There were no explosives. The men wouldn’t have been bailed if there were.

It's as though people know her more than she does. She is entitled to be as angry, calm, together or not as she wants.

Lol, if it’s diesel or oil thievery I’d love to see the police interviews. I bet the “no comment” tactic will have gone right out the window. Must’ve been a bit of a shock for them when they know that the police don’t normally even show up let alone investigate.

I'm know of an investigation during Covid when someone was caught at Heathrow trying to smuggle £250k in cash of fraudulent Covid bounce back loans to Dubai.

He was initially charged with smuggling money abroad to finance terrorist activities whereupon he immediately confessed that he was "just" smuggling fraudulently obtained Covid business loans.

Pretty sure where there is suspicion of a terror offence police have more power to detained for longer than usual. I wonder why they aren't using those powers.
I have absolutely NO FAITH in the authorities any more.

Could it be because there were no grounds to suspect them of planning or committing a terror offence, perhaps?

Yes I know and she has every right to want that information and to be angry.

Because numerous barrels of stolen red diesel does not equal a viable explosive.

They were just incredibly stupid to try and transfer the barrels between vehicles 350 metres from a heavily guarded major airbase.

’the odd one taking a life’.

The poor family. Perhaps vetting should be better.

As an immigrant myself, I find the logic in that post you’ve quoted quite bonkers.
Do people not realise that a country doesn't just have to let everyone in and hope for the best?
You can intentionally bring over qualified doctors on targeted work visas, rather than just hoping to find a few of them among thousands of undocumented arrivals.

Redheadedstepchild · 28/09/2026 19:29

Three of the suspects had addresses in Westminster. Can somebody explain that? Seems a bit odd but what do I know?

YourAmplePlumPoster · 28/09/2026 19:29

Yes of course. She must only be allowed to protest in a politically approved way by people who have never experienced this type of loss and grief,

If those appended were doing nothing more sinister than stealing a bit of (red, presumably) diesel….

Then there is a brilliant, poetic irony about Trump claiming we should all thank him, he’s one step ahead of the curve etc etc blah blah..

When he, with his un winnable war with Iran is the very reason it is now profitable and worthwhile to steal diesel in the first place…

Other than that, this whole toxic thread is almost a perfect example of exactly why speculation, without facts, is a really unhelpful thing to engage in.

Edited

To be fair the stealing of red diesel from farms has been going on for decades and is certainly not a recent thing.

That said you are right that it is now a more profitable crime.

Absolutely. Hence the outrage. But if you point that out, you're creating a 'pile on' ( never quite get that one. Is it when someone disagrees vehemently with you?).

Yay another conspiracy theory to the list!

It makes more sense than suspected terrorists let out on bail. Or petrol thieves taking three white vans to pinch some fuel. Maybe they were spies. But in three white vans and black balaclavas - hmm unlikely. Maybe they were filming the next James Bond.

inamarina · 28/09/2026 19:34

EasternStandard · 28/09/2026 17:57

I’m sure there’s a better system than shrugging over deaths to get access to doctors.

Exactly.
