I hope they can make a difference to the gangs - trafficking and smuggling is terrible.

However, I have said on numerous threads that I don’t believe people will stop migrating here, and elsewhere, it’s what we’ve done since the start of human time - plus climate, wars etc. The gangs are profiting from this but it will happen without them.

I’d love a global solution to all this but that’s a pipe dream - I’m the meantime I reckon being nice to your neighbour is a great start to the kind of society that benefits everyone.
