Today is the 25th anniversary of 9/11 do you remember what you were doing when you saw the news?

I remember every single bit of that day like it was yesterday. I had only visited the WTC 3 months earlier too. Thinking about the families and survivors and emergency workers today.

On re-reading about it this year as the 25th anniversary has meant more news articles etc. it surprised me how quick the whole thing was from planes hitting to towers falling, I have a false memory thing of it going on for hours.
I was a teacher, not in a lesson I had a free, was getting some photocopying done in the office and the office secretary told me about it. I went back to the science dept and the internet fell over (it was quite new) so we got the telly on wheels into the prep room and watched the news.

I was at work. It was a news sensitive publishing firm so the news was always on and it just looked unreal. You could not accept it was happening. It really looked like a clip from a disaster movie. I was at uni in NY and used to take the Path train from Hoboken NJ to Manhattan must days changing at the station underneath the twin towers.
