I recently finished watching Series 4 of the Piano on Channel 4 and I can never get over how much I love Mika, both as a mentor but also as a singer and a public figure. He's so talented, funny, and handsome as well 😍

Awww! I love Mika. I will always remember my kids singing, "Sucking so hard on your lollipop oh love's going to get you down" in the car when they were like, 3, 4, 6 and 8 with absolute joy.

I hope so, I hate not having anything booked in and not knowing when I'll next see him 😢 I guess I have, but I know of some fans who have literally seen him hundreds of times, they're a bit crazy 🤣

They must have a lot of patience and money to do all that 😂 Can't be my life even if I wish it was.

Kids love that song 😅My niece sang it everywhere she went when she about 6.

I've got a video of kids I know singing along to that at Kew the music, just as well these kids don't actually know what they're singing about 😆

Oh Wembley looked like a fantastic show! Did you have a good seat?

We were up pretty high at the side. But during Big Girl You Are Beautiful he came wandering around the crowds and came right up to our section!

Was an amazing show wasn't it? He's been coming into the crowd for Big Girl for years, there'd be uproar amongst fans if he stopped 🤣

Well it turned out to be a pretty great spot in the end it seems!

I love him. He is talented and beautiful. I always thought he'd have been a better new frontman for Queen than Adam Lambert. When he does the Freddy Mercury impression in Grace Kelly it is perfect.

I say this ALL the time! So glad you agree. I saw queen in 1981 and when I saw Mika I thought “he’s got the same energy on stage as Freddie”. Plus he has the vocal range. I always find Adam Lambert so plastic, so mannered. Nothing Mercuryesque about him at all.

I don't understand Adam Lambert taking Freddie's place (or trying to 😕) I really dislike him. Only Mika could ever come close. I think Mika and Freddie would have been great friends if the timing had been different.

To me, Lambert just has an average roaring rock voice, whereas Freddie and Mika can turn to opera, crooning or musical theatre then back to stadium rock in a single breath. They are so versatile.

I'm so glad I watched that. I've liked his music since the beginning, but Eurovision was what made me become totally obsessed with him. His interval performance was spectacular.

Responding to everyone on the Queen thing - I believe he was asked to be the frontman and turned down the role, in any case I know he said he'd never want to do that so he can keep some distance from one of his favourite bands. But I agree that he'd be excellent!

Lambert's voice really isn't a match, I agree.

You have 😁 Mika would have been the only acceptable replacement for Freddie if anyone, but he knew Freddie was irreplaceable and Mika is unique in his own right.

It was an incredible choice, he always seems to carve his own path that way.

Oh wow, that must have been one of his earliest concerts! He's worth the trouble.

Just Googled it - he was at Leeds Uni in May 2007, not 2006. But still pretty early.
