I’ve seen medical people saying the temperature could have been that low due to her injuries.

So there could be a hung jury. This could lead to a mistrial. The DA's office then have to decide what to do next. Prosecutors could drop the charges, negotiate a plea deal or seek to put Lindsay on trial again before a new jury.

If the case raises enough doubt - which it is outside the courtroom - then that could very well happen and she could very well walk free.

She’s not free though is she, her children are dead. I know I wouldn’t be able to carry on.

In the trial? Or other medics?

I was just wondering that, her body would’ve been in shock

atamlin · 12/08/2026 18:02

Seems like the TikTok brigade is out in force. Her husband didn’t do this! Get a grip.

She was clearly unwell but I seriously doubt she was psychotic. I believe she snapped and this was a (triple) murder suicide. Occam’s razor.

Ridiculous. You don’t know that at all.

@OhBotherSaidPoo thats what i heard him say in the trial. Are you watching the actual trial @Sometimeswinning ? because he said that she told him they were in the basement. And then the docs said she couldn't have doen that with her injuries.

He was on the phone to 911 when this all took place. He was speaking with Lindsay and said she told him, but I don’t recall how he said she told him. Maybe I assumed it was a gesture. But it would make sense.

CarpeVitam · 12/08/2026 18:41

I cannot believe ppl are speculating that he did it! Mind blown 🤯

It would make sense that she would have been able to gesture effectively to the exact location of her dead children following a fall from a 2nd storey which paralysed her, slashes to her wrist and neck that while superficial still required sutures, spinal fluid leaking from her nose, her thyroid crushed and her body temp at 27 degrees? Really?

Sorry. You think she spoke then? You think that he’s making it up because he’s guilty? I think my theory is better than any conspiracy theory you’ve read/heard on TikTok.

May be wrong on this but wasn’t there a slit window to the basement adjacent to where she fell from the bedroom window? Along the floor? Maybe she moved her eyes towards the basement window.

Big Kev would be in trouble if he tried to suggest in any way shape or form to the jury that someone else did it. It's called "personal bar" or "estoppel". He and LC have literally agreed in open court (and signed a Specification document) agreeing that the state do not need to prove that she did it. If he backtracked on that, that would be deemed to be unfair to the state and, as I say, he'd be in big shit with the judge and his professional body.

NowIsTheWinterOfOurDiscontent · 12/08/2026 19:31

The thing is - you can't run a defence that says "I didn't do it but even if I did I was insane at the time". You have to pick one. So Big Kev must either know/believe she did it or think that Insanity is a better defence than Incrimination (blaming someone else).

I wouldn't be surprised if, towards the end of things, there are questions marks over her fitness to continue to stand trial. It must be taking a terrible toll on her. I do think the trial could be abandoned in the end. I wonder if one day she WILL "succeed" in killing herself.

NowIsTheWinterOfOurDiscontent · 12/08/2026 19:43

It IS an interesting question tho - what happens if she's convicted and somewhere down the line she wants to appeal and say she didn't do it? She would have to say that she had defective legal counsel and that is why she signed the specification admitting being physically responsible.

Her "confession" at the time (when she was possibly insane) is neither here nor there btw. It's the legally binding admission in court that matters.

Much like Brian Kohberger now trying to retract his guilty plea to the Idaho Murders.

ScarletLisa · 12/08/2026 19:44

One thing that we can all agree on is that her medical care was absolutely shocking!

NowIsTheWinterOfOurDiscontent · 12/08/2026 19:46

Here is the literal video of LC admitting in court that she killed them. Big Kev is right next to her. She cannot now blame PC.

Exactly.

I have found the whole thing really interesting from a UK / US perspective - the amount of messages between her and each psychiatrist is staggering. Here you have an appointment, get given a prescription and you don’t see or speak to anyone again for potentially weeks. (My dh has severe bipolar and Mum had schizophrenia so have some experience of this). LC was messaging everyone all day long, asking questions, etc. It’s just so different. And so many of them all involved and multiple prescriptions, none of them completely aware of what the others were doing. Just so bizarre.

Medics online. The ones I’ve seen commenting on the courtroom clips are not surprised by it.
Im not sure it would be commented on in the trial as she’d admitted to it all.

The 911 call is crucial. However it has not been released to the public or the media. Only in court, in camera.

Victorius19 · 12/08/2026 20:24

I think there's a natural urge to make an excuse for her behaviour because it's so abhorrent to accept the alternative....

Women do snap and kill their children. Yes she was mentally unwell at the time, and her husband should never have left the children with her because she wasn't able to be responsible. He and the children sadly paid the ultimate price for that decision. But that decision wasn't a criminal one.

Jannajenna · 12/08/2026 20:42

Guilty as sin and should be locked up for life. She took her time to take her three luttle
children to the basement and strangled them one by one with her training rope. Imagine the absolute horror they felt looking into their mother's demonic eyes while she was draining them of life.

She asked her husband to run errands and then picked up the phone during the act before completing it.

Also if she didn't realise what she was doing at the time surely now that she is 'back to normal' she wouldn't want to avoid jail time to pay for the horrific crime she'd perpetrated?

The lawyer is trying to find anybody to
blame but the actual murderer of the three little innocent kids. I am afraid she might get away with it and my heart is breaking for the little angels when I imagine what was unfolding in that basement.

There’s no need to be insulting, I’m following the trial and listening to the evidence in real time. I’m an intelligent, professional, educated woman capable of questioning things and forming opinions without believing everything I see on bloody TikTok.

And no, I don’t believe she spoke. Because the medical evidence given in court suggests that was nigh on impossible at the time.

I don’t necessarily believe he is guilty, but I do believe that there are some serious questions to answer as to the version of events as they have been presented. Occam’s Razor is not always correct and sometimes it IS a zebra you hear. We’ve seen that play out many times.

Are you aware of how catastrophically she was let down by every single medical professional she encountered?

Are you aware that the prosecution case has been an unmitigated disaster so far because every witness they have called has described Lindsay as nothing short of a perfect, loving, caring and attentive mother? A nanny, her ex husband, her friends, her ex FIL? They’ve all been called by the prosecution and have essentially just ended up being positive character witnesses for the defence. Not one of them can fault her as a mother.

If she did this, which she likely did, she had a complete and utter psychotic break. What happened was horrific, she was let down by everyone around her, a pinch of compassion wouldn’t go astray.
