Actors, sports people, celebrities who you get muddled up or just can't differentiate between.

Prompted because I have just 3 minutes ago realised the the actors Katherine Parkinson and Kerry Godliman are not the same person.

Also, Suranne Jones and Keeley Hawes.

I know they aren't the same person but takes me a minute to work out which one I am watching ... Kyle Chandler and Ron Livingston. Yet I can tell the difference immediately between Aaron and Shawn Ashmore on screen.

I literally opened this thread just to say Keeley hawes and Suranne jones. Except, I cannot retain keeley’s name in my head (probably because she is in fact the same person as Suranne) so I’d have had to say ‘suranne jones and that other actress who looks passably like her and does similar programs’.

Oh so many, it's a running joke in my house that i can't tell celebrities apart. Saw Richard Rankin recently on the street and initially thought he was James Mcavoy. Carey mulligan and Michele Williams. Charlize Theron and Ashley Judd. The list goes on... sometimes to the extent that watching a film is confusing because in my mind two separate characters are the same person.

Yes I agree with this one too - have heard of both, they are both very similar in my mind, I think one owns Wrexham and one was in Lalaland but couldn't say who's who.

Other than all being red heads, they actually don't look that alike, but I can never remember who's been in what out of Christina Hendricks, Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Samuel L Jackson, Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington. All the same person in my head.

I also spent ages watching Severance wondering why Cousin Greg (Succession) looked so different. That'll be because the main character is actually Adam Scott not Nicholas Braun and there's about 15 years ago difference.
