BIL using our bedroom for intimate purposes

We arrived home from holiday last night. BIL has kindly been cat-sitting for us, popping in twice a day, but not sleeping here overnight. This is important.

This afternoon, I've been sorting out a few things in our room. The sun was shining in, and as it hit the mirror I could clearly see strange marks - handprints, quite high up, and what I think is a willy mark at hip height. They are quite noticeable, so I'm sure they weren't here before we went away.

I suspect BIL has been entertaining himself in our bedroom, either alone or with a partner. He's single and the thought of him bringing a hook-up into our bedroom makes me feel ill.

I've changed the sheets (just in case his activities culminated in our bed), but I don't know if I can bear the thought of him cat-sitting for us again if he does this. But DH will think it's strange if we don't have him back, and DCat has never been to a cattery.

Is there a way I can subtley dissuade him from using our home in this way, without offending him?

I've added photos, but they aren't very good because my phone doesn't seem to focus on the mirror surface.

It's just a bit of perving in the bedroom, surely its worth it to have a happy cat?

HotGrapefruit · 03/08/2026 18:30

HAHAHAHA

I would not immediately go to this conclusion

BUT if I was of this way of thinking, I'd put a Ring camera in the bedroom next time

And examine the cat for signs of entry.

greenritta · 03/08/2026 18:46

@WhatTheMirrorSaw, is it possible that he spilled a something on himself, took a shower, wrapped a towel around his waist. Coming out of the shower spotted a spider high up on the mirror. He went for the spider but as he leaned in, the towel dropped and he smashed his "willy" send his hand against the mirror?

How likely would that be? 🤔

MidnightMeltdown · 03/08/2026 18:46

I think you need more evidence. Next time you go on holiday, set up a camera for ‘home security’ and find out whether your mirror is being violated.

Is this one for classics?

The willy mark is the long, thin one that isn't a hand print

Sorry OP, I'm still not seeing willies in any of the pics but it tickles me that, out of the 3 photos you've posted, the most obvious one of a handprint is the one to be labelled "Sensitive content" 😂

I don't know what that is (except that it allegedly has something to do with Prince William) and I don't want to know!

Prince William likes pegging?! Well well, you learn something new every day🤣🤣🤣

Send a pic ‘what did you do to my mirror’
when he responds, you say ‘is that a Willy?’
then watch him squirm!

I think the hand prints are his and the funny mark is the cat"s nose.

Just casually mention, within earshot of BIL, that you’re going to set up catcams next time you go away, as you think the cat might’ve been stressed or something because you cleaned some really strange smears off your bedroom mirror…..

Bakeittillyoumakeit · 03/08/2026 18:50

You're suggesting OP that your BIL has taken all his clothes off and has proceeded to press his naked body with his arms stretched up in the air against your mirror but in such a way that just his hands and non erect (assumingly for that shape) willy touched it?

Really? How on earth would you jump to that conclusion? Are you normally as mad as a box of frogs?

No I think that's the one the OP is seeing a willy in. I just see a bit of a smear personally.

Pegging.

How would that create ‘Willy mark’?

JHound · 03/08/2026 18:52

and what I think is a willy mark at hip height.

😂😂

dogsmaid · 03/08/2026 18:53

I didn’t realise willy's left marks!

Simonjt · 03/08/2026 18:54

WhatTheMirrorSaw · 03/08/2026 18:02

What else could it be? It's at the height of my hips

Then it must be your willy 🤣

I’ve seen a lot of willy, none of those marks look like a willy outline.

At hip height?
How tall do we think OP's cat is?

DorsetMermaid · 03/08/2026 18:55

"I would love to believe it was my DH leaning against the mirror to examine a rash, but wouldn't he need one hand free to hold the second mirror? And there are definitely two hand prints (left and right) here."

Perhaps your cleaner held the second mirror?

chocoluv · 03/08/2026 18:51

I think the assumption is that BIL’s willy was being pressed up against the mirror whilst he was being pegged.

By the cat?

DropEmOut · 03/08/2026 18:57

Oh stop 😂😂😂

CoolShoeshine · 03/08/2026 18:58

I cannot tell from the photo but it depends on whether the willy print is in a floppy or active state. That will narrow down the situational evidence to nefarious daliance or 'oops I accidentally dropped my trousers and pants while standing near the mirror'.

RP1176 · 03/08/2026 19:01

I have literally never read anything more ridiculous than this 🤣 why would he press up against a mirror to masturbate? Why would he have his willy pressed against the mirror to have sex. It would have had to be unerrect. Why would he be having intimate activity with an unerrect penis. Why would he do any of the above in your home. Does he not have his own home?? What a bizarre stretch to go to from seeing marks on a mirror 🤣

Foundress · 03/08/2026 19:03

The handprints could be innocent. I have never seen the imprint of a willy on glass. I am not sure about the other marks. Could these other marks be caused by the cat jumping up at the mirror trying to catch a fly or something? My dog leaves smearing all over the windows when he pushes his nose and paws against the glass. I am open to the possibility of cooling down using a full length mirror. Although a cool shower would be easier. I hope having to provide a full length mirror is not going to become the norm for employing pet sitters.
