Kent County Council insisting that the national anthem is sung at the end of each meeting. Green party spotted a loophole, and sang all 6 verses (which of course Reform didn't do/didn't know). But even funnier:

Nobody planned this part. Kent County Council’s livestream tried generating automatic subtitles while the opposition kept singing. It didn’t go well, instead of the actual (fairly obscure) lyrics to God Save the King, the system apparently decided it was hearing The Star-Spangled Banner and started producing American national anthem lyrics instead.

Excellent. That reform bunch do seem to lack humour any more sophisticated than mocking someone.

Stands to reason that if you do something in a job that’s being investigated - that investigation ceases when you leave.

if you remain - however you remain - it continues.

I suppose he could drop out now and still win because it’s too late to remove him from the ballot paper - then what happens?
