Do you like Andy Burnham?

I want to like him but am finding him quite annoying and smug. I'm worried the power will go to his head.

I am trying to not become attached to British Prime Ministers.

They aren’t lasting long.

I can't stand him. He's so smug and pleased with himself.

No views. He’s ok. I really want some stability.

I’m was on the fence but he seems to think he has all the answers and no one else has thought about them, not sure about that.

I have no strong opinions so far. I'm open to seeing what he actually does before making up my mind. It seems he's open to actually trying some new ideas rather than just going round and round in the same circles as usual.

Couldn't agree more. I want him to do the job seriously and with integrity. Whether I like him is neither here nor there.

It will be interesting to see how he gets on. Right now he does come across as a bit of a know-it-all to me. I suppose if he does what he says good luck to him.

I didn't really mind Keir Starmer though.

He seems a bit of a showman - I imagine there will be lots of words and very little action beyond more taxes for the middle classes he classes as rich because it's easier to tax them than the very rich who have clever accountants.

No! Andy Burnham was health secretary during the last Labour govt during the North Staffs crisis. He was dreadful then. Google his time in office

Met him. On more than one occasion. He’s nice and has delivered a lot for Greater Manchester.

Given we’re on day 1 I feel it is touch premature to be making judgements about how I feel about him.
