Are you a mum of grown up boys?

Do your sons' partners laugh at you being indulgent towards them?
mine occasionally chuckle at me being CLASSIC boys mum 😀

I do not expect anyone to do laundry or other 'female' tasks. Its just general affection and indulgence.

Christ no to letting the boys off stuff! My DIl chuckles at my excited cooking when they come to stay and making everything nice. I must ask her what she finds funny about it

I love looking after mine too but they don’t live at home so it’s an occasional treat for me. They can both cook and do laundry. My younger one did say not to mother him so much when he comes home so I don’t. We’ll watch something like Traitors and get really into it and if he has to go back to uni before it finishes I wait till his next visit and we resume it. I hate cooking nowadays so that’s how we stay bonded. I’ve never treated either of mine like little emperors and I think that’s the key to having a healthy and respectful mother/son relationship.

I have adult sons and daughters, I fuss them all when they are home. I love having them around.

Wait until you have grandchildren 😉
