Princess party favours for boys as an alternative to wands

DD(3) party is next weekend. The venue let you choose a theme and despite her brother putting some not so subtle pressure on her, she’s gone with princesses. There are a lot of boys attending and the venue are happy to do more neutral themes with the party bags but I was going to give little wands out.

I am perfectly happy for all the boys to have wands but I just don’t think they’ll be interested (and I do know the boys well; one is my own son.) Can anyone think of a small gift that’s a sort of equivalent?

It needs to be the same thing for everyone!
This. No swords or guns No 'pink for girls, blue for boys'.

Swords
my 4 year old would be buzzing with a sword and also was buzzing when we went to a female friends 4th party a few weeks back and the mum went to lengths to do girl party bags and boy party bags xx

I was going to say there's foam Minecraft swords, so kinda fit with a fantasy/roleplay theme. But I've just seen you've found the frogs 🐸

You don’t need to do anything extra on top of party bags, but if you want to then in this case I’d go for jewels. As in the big oversized plastic diamonds 💎

For some children they will be pretty jewels, for others they will be treasure for hiding / protecting etc. princesses, castles, pirates they all need treasure. Everyone can have the same thing and play with it in their own way.

At my daughter's 5th they all got wands and tiara and all loved it.

At 3 both my boys would have been so disappointed to not get a glittery wand... That's still the age where unicorns and glitter is cool! Because you know... Magic!

Those little glider planes that you build, though you run the risk of the girls preferring them too

My 6 year old boy went to a Harry Potter party recently and they all had wands which everyone loved.

I think the younger boys wouldn't care. It only becomes awkward if you have girls getting one thing and boys another. Especially if other parents spot this.

Is it more your son and his friends you are worried about? Considering it's not their party, I would just give them the party bag provided by the venue. I wouldn't be buying any extras or anything different.
Your DDs friends will all be young and therefore giving them the same would be the sensible choice.

Wizards have wands too.
