Seems like she fell and died from a head injury. But of course the Daily Mail exaggerate the "police investigating a murder" because obviously the police have to rule that out.

Not really. The police will normally investigate a death if it was not expected. It doesn’t mean anything sinister happened. It’s to establish facts and cause of death.

Friends told to 'brace for bad news' though - that does seem like there is real potential for there to have been foul play. Hope that will give Peter Tatchell and the others who have been gloating so unpleasantly some pause for thought.

BBC and Guardian news alerts on it flashed up on my phone

Yeah I did wonder about the "bad news" bit but that might mean that unfortunately she laid a while before being found.

What I will say is - I was a teenager when she was on Celebrity Fit Camp, I messaged her on the Widdy Web about society's views of obesity and received a very kind and thoughtful reply. Clearly written or dictated by her personally.

Tatchell and co are vile. Would they expect a devout Muslim to support gay marriage? Then why a Catholic?

I am really sad about this. Such a waste, she had many more years, you might not agree with her but we actually do need intelligent people who we don't agree with who are willing to debate and discuss. And she loved cats 🐈 ❤️

They are looking for a white male and appealing for ring doorbell footage.

I hate that she may have died in fear. I never agreed with what she had to say but I loved watching her and listening to her speak. What a sad end.

I know that is the principle, but none of mine ever seem to be approved. And I don't think any of them have been questionable!
