DH has had a proper sleep & I’ve had a bit of one but think I may well crash & burn before kick off! Hope I can stay awake though ⚽️🇬🇧⚽️🇬🇧

Awful sleep last right hot as hell all day and now delayed kickoff… wonderful 😒should’ve gone pub!

I am up anyway with insomnia (thanks Chemo) so will watch. DS has gone to the pub but they've decided any more delays they are coming home. Apparently it's mad busy and people have been drinking since 12 noon ...they went out at 10:30 this evening

I slept at around 9:30 pm and awoke at 1:05 to see it's been delayed, so have caught up on the highlights of Brazil v Norway. Will get a cuppa and see what happens.

I went to bed at 8.30 and set my alarm for 12.55 but my car woke me up at 11.30… so 2.5 hours before the game 😱😱😱

Wide awake now but want to sleep as kick off delay makes it too late now. Shouldn’t have had the coffee

I’m up and committed after a few espresso martinis…. Gutted it’s been delayed! Seems like it will go ahead for 2am. I was very sleepy at midnight but have my second wind now. I’m excited!

DD just arrived with some mates to watch the match. They were going to watch it in town, but with a delayed kickoff she said the whole place was dead.

making hot dogs on bbq - there are no neighbours this will annoy… as they are currently in my lounge too - along with ‘all ds’es mates’, dd’s boyfriend (she’s gone to bed) , DH, my parents, some of my siblings and some colleagues. The hour delay has been hard.
