Oh FFS, KO is delayed for an hour. So I think I’m going to sack it off now.

Too tired to, and am drifting now. I think England will lose anyway because Mexico have the advantage (because of the high altitude.) And Mexico have won 33 of the last 34 matches or something.

I really hope England do win of course! Will find out tomorrow!

Yes, I’m a night owl anyway so no problem. It’s only work tomorrow, and because I'm not a pilot, or a HGV driver or a surgeon I can function adequately while hung over & half asleep.

Went to bed at 8:30 - just woke up to my alarm to meet DD1 on the landing saying go back to sleep it’s delayed! She’s stayed awake as well - oh well another hour of kip for me - fingers crossed I wake up

I'm up. Went to bed about 9.30 and haven't slept for some reason. I might go back to bed now I've realised it's delayed. I have work in the morning at 8.30.

Not sure I'll stay awake until 2am for even the kick-off let alone the whole game but we shall see. Was going to let the DCs stay up for it but rescinded the offer when the kick-off got moved back.

DH is away for work and staying in a room in a pub - he is thankful to have been provided with earplugs

I’m up! Alongside 17 year old DS and seven of his friends! My youngest two are at my parents so tomorrow we can all have a looooong lie in. DH is in Mexico for the game and he said the storm is unholy. Crossing my fingers it doesn’t get delayed again

Went to bed around 9 but have not slept too well. Going bad to bed until 2 now. DD 13 got up but went straight back to bed

I'm in a time zone two hours ahead. I set my alarm for 02:45 to watch, woke DD up, then found out kick off is delayed! I can't go back to sleep now, I can never fall back asleep after getting up so that's me up for the day now with a full day of work ahead of me (that I will have to go in late for now that match has been delayed as I usually leave home at 5am)

I went to bed at 20:00 and set an alarm for 12:55. I’ve got to be up for work at 05:00 so with the delay I’ll just stay up for the night now.
