What hair/eye colour do your children have with very different-looking parents?

DH and I are expecting our first child and I have always wondered what our child’s colouring will be. I have blue eyes, light blonde hair and fair skin. My mum’s colouring is the same as mine, my dad has light brown hair and grey eyes. My DH has black hair, brown eyes and olive skin. His mum had dark brown hair with hazel eyes and his dad has same colours as DH. I’m so curious I find genetics fascinating!

So my question is, just for fun, do any of you have child(ren) with a partner with completely different colouring to you and did your child take after one parent more than the other?

I have brown hair, hazel eyes and olive complexion.DH has lighter brown hair, blue eyes and pale complexion. DS1 has the exact colouring of DH, DD1 has blonde hair and blue eyes, DD2 has blondish/auburn curly hair and grey/green eyes, pale with freckles.

Dh brown hair blue/grey eyes. Me blonde hair green eyes. Both kids blonde hair blue/grey eyes.

Me - light brown hair with hint of strawberry blonde, blue eyes and pale - prone to burning
DH - almost black hair, grey blue eyes and medium skin tone - tans

DS1 - strawberry blonde/light hair, very blue eyes, v pale skin (me basically)
DD1 - very dark almost almost black hair, grey blue eyes, tans but with freckles (DH)
DS2 - Dark brown hair, grey eyes, tans (DH)
DS2 - blonde/brown hair which looks highlighted, blue eyes, tans and with freckles (combo)

I have dark brown eyes and brown/black hair, pale skin and freckles (and mixed heritage- I get my skin from my dad!).
DH has blonde hair, blue eyes and more of a tan.

Both DC had blue eyes when born, one was a baldy then blonde, the other had jet black spiky hair at birth. The black grew out as a very clear stripe!
Both's eye colours changed around 2-3 to green and then by 5 to hazel. And hair went to mousy brown.

Now they both have brown hair, light brown eyes, one pale and freckly the other more tanned.
