Worried about overactive thyroid despite thyroxine dose changes

Very worried as ive been diagnosed with an overactive thyroid. My thyroid has been u der and made stable with thyroxine but it's now overactive and the dose of thyroxine was changed and it's still overactive so they have changed it again and in 6 weeks I will have another blood test to see what's what. I. So worried as this can lead to heart failure. I am having palpitations and lkst weight and have fatigue. Ive never been so worried I can't eat or sleep due to the worry.

Your heart won’t be in trouble, promise. Thyroid palpitations are harmless. The doc can give you beta blockers if they’re too uncomfortable. They too are harmless, very safe and useful drugs.

Bear in mind that this awful anxiety is temporary with a physical cause that will be fixed shortly. Repeat that to yourself when you do the breathing. The breathing acts physically to calm you.

I dont take supplements and have palpitations occasionally a d I mentioned again about the housing officer saying i need home help. NO I DO NOT NEED HONE HELP AS IM NOT DISABLED

With respect, you didn’t open the thread about a housing officer. You asked about hyperthyroidism and thyroxine.

I was going to suggest beta blockers too. I’ve had them before and they really help, and are often used for hyperthyroidism.

Ffs ive posted about my housing officer telling me I need a hime help. I dont need a hime help. Why doesn't anyone address this
