Oh no 😢 She was brilliant - Margot Leadbetter and Audrey fforbes-Hamilton were absolute legends. A great loss to acting and comedy.but both all the better for her.

Our family still say "Yuletide Felicitations" in the style of Margo instead of Merry Christmas. Love her portrayal of Margo

It's funny when I first saw that programme, i thought Tom was so much more modern than them, watching it recently I thought as a DH he would be worthy of a few Mumsnet posts.
The way she said Mrs Dooms Patterson, always made me laugh. Her performances didn't date, even though the series are shall we say of the time.

Sad news. Margo is still so quotable all these years later. My favourite is "the silent majority" when the council worker asked her who she thought she was.

We do! Margo rocked, what a fantastic character!

What a great legacy she left. Wonderful actor.

Margo's outfits ate up a large part of the Good lifes budget, apparently 🥰

I watched both The good Life & To the Manor Born as a way to learn some much needed English...

PK recently did a look back at The Good Life and they recreated the set of Margo and Jerry's living room. She said she got to go shopping and pick out all of Margo's fabulous outfits!
