Anfield stadium not allowing people to take suncream to concerts?

So Anfield haven't been allowing people to take their own sunscreen into the Foo Fighters concerts.

They say that there are stations in the stadium but I wouldn't want to use some random sunscreen that will probably be all gunked up after the first 50 people have used it. I wouldn't trust it or the ingredients. My daughter is also VERY fussy about textures and sunscreen is a trigger. Plus, if it's hot and sweaty, I would need to reapply it which would potentially mean missing part of the concert I've paid a fortune for and losing my spot.

I get them not wanting to allow big bottles of factor 50 in in case people are trying to smuggle alcohol or whatever but surely that can be negated by asking people to decant into clear bottles?

At Chelsea they didn't take the lid off my water bottle I took in on entry but when they gave me a free one at the bar at half time (long story involving pre pid food that never arrived) they insisted on taking the top off that one. Go figure!

We always take spare lids!

We were at Anfield this week(spare lids in jeans pocket😂). The info online said one empty unsealed 500ml water bottle was allowed and one full sealed bottle. Our empty bottle was taken. We then bought a new bottle at the bar- they didn’t take the lid.
Hope that’s helpful for future visitors.
Also we saw security in front of the stage refill bottles for the crowd then throw them back to their owners like darts!
