What is your favourite season order?

Absolute favourite is Autumn. It's cooler, the cozy dark nights are all coming back to us. Crunchy leaves, candles, all the beautiful colours, excited little children running around trick or treating, crispy mornings, cold fresh air, hot chocolate, bubble baths, big coats, pretty fireworks and sparklers.

Winter. Most of the above but all white and wellies!

Spring. A bit of warmth finally returns and we can enjoy early morning walks again. The little ducklings on the canal. Bank Holidays. That's about it.

Summer. Shit. Hay fever, stifling heat, fluffy lank hair and looking like a sweaty miserable RAT.

I like them all. I like elements of each. Probably spring, autumn, winter, summer but if summer was a mild one (no more than mid 20s max) then it would be spring, autumn, summer, winter. My favourite months are May for all the new spring growth and the vivid greens of new leaves and September for bright days but trees turning all the colours of autumn. My least favourite is hot hot days followed by February.

TBH I’d just like proper seasons like they have in New England.

Love autumn and winter but not because of the twee rubbish about wrapping up cosy! I like the cold for its own sake.

If I could completely avoid Christmas (esp the lights being put up and taken down, both of which are depressing as fuck), winter would be my favourite.

but not so sure about spring and summer. I have this weird dislike of spring, when bad stuff happens it tends to be in spring. I don't like heatwave summer at all but can enjoy low 20s picnic weather summer. Not sure how I'd rank spring and summer.

Me, too. If forced to expand, I'll throw in late Spring and very early autumn. Once the leaves start falling off the trees, I hate the world and carry on hating it until they're all green and bushy again.
