Do you feel sorry for Katie Price?

I know that she’s done some terrible things, but I can’t help but feel bad for Katie Price. Yes, I feel bad for her kids, pets, and family first and foremost, but sympathy is not a finite resource as I feel sad for her too.

In the noughties, she had the world at her feet. She made a success of herself out of no skills or qualifications. For a time, the public seemed to like her.

Seeing how far she’s fallen is tragic. With the right man or better friends, things could have turned out quite different I think?

Her whole life has been the relentless pursuit of fame and money. Without any skills, she simply sold the tabloids everything else a person could sell - her body, children, relationships. She gamed the media to get rich, got millions out of it and then wasted it all. I don't feel sorry for that.

so what exactly is going in with her and are the authorities aware...do they have to be aware or she is just a bit weird...many weird people live around you know

She may not be high brow or a sportsperson, but she has the set of socialising skills that keeps someone like that in the public eye

Only aware of what's going on with her from occasional headline, but I'm just kind of confused by her behaviour, like deliberately self-sabotaging for attention? I remember after one of her marriage sto whichever goon it was her first big interview led with how she didn't trust him?

Now marrying this conman and I half think she did it knowingly because he would create headlines. Can almost believe he went off the UAE or wherever it was aware he'd get arrested, presumably for being a conman, and then they could make hay from that story and initially spin some story about it being for spying etc.

It feels like her only values are getting attention, no matter how - and sadly she generally gets obliged by the media.

She has spoken about having PTSD, ADHD, and body dysmorphia. The latter I think is a given with all her surgeries and how she looks now.

What Katie Price says and what is the actual truth are two very different things.
I don’t know about mental illness but I do see someone who is utterly self-absorbed, vain, ignorant, shallow as a puddle and toxic to the core. She is a text-book narcissist and I pity anyone who has to have any dealings with her.

Yes, because she's basically been in the sex trade since she was a young girl and has no idea how to navigate life outside of that superficial world.

All of her addictions i.e. drugs, plastic surgery, etc stems from that insidious world. So, I feel very sorry for her, and anyone else, that was ever introduced to that world.

Even if they seem more balanced, they all eventually crack from the stress and/or addictions, by very early burn out (Britney Spears) or later life addiction spirals (Mariah Carey etc).

I'm not comparing her fame to these people, naturally, but the trade is the same and some make it and some keep trying. The outcome is always sad.

I don’t like Gazza either and the fact he was found not guilty when he assaulted the woman on the train was dreadful.

Think she may have body dismorphia as that's why she has a lot of plastic surgery done

I do think she is a vulnerable woman who has been horribly exploited and who seems to struggle to find happiness and peace in her life. At the same time she consistently makes very poor and reckless choices and does need to take some responsibility for not reflecting on that and seeking help.

I feel sorry for anyone who’s been an idiot. But that puts me in a very small minority because I also feel sorry for Andrew whatever-his-name is now and Donald Trump. All 3 behave very badly and are imploding in full public sight.

They’re behaving exactly as they’ve been brought up and trained to behave. I wouldn’t be in their shoes for anything.

I think she absolutely hates herself deep down and that's why she self sabotages and tries to change how she looks etc.

I think she has serious mental health issues, along with her well documented substance use . I really think she is very unwell . She has also ruined her looks & turned herself into a cartoonish woman with the numerous ( free ) cosmetic procedures . She has also lost a frightening amount of weight . I think it’s inevitable how this amount of chaos is going to end

Yes because I think she is gullible and somewhat easily influenced.

When you become a parent, if your life has been somewhat of a train wreck, then you have to step up and change that and learn from your mistakes. Just stop being a dick for one…

Have you ever watched her podcast the one she does with her sister Sophie, well as soon as Sophie dares to speak about herself or her children Katie glazes over and quickly interrupts in her shouting voice "what I did" it is literally me, me, me. Sophie is so patient but recently you can see she's losing patience with Katie. It's painful to watch how self absorbed Katie is.

She strung along JJ Slater who was running around after her to all her shows, then drops him like a hot brick for some conman in Dubai! Her decision making is so reckless and self centred when she has young children. You can't just keep bringing random men into your life when you have young children to think about.

Then there's all the animals she's killed and neglected. That's another strange addiction she has- buying pets and then getting bored of them.

Then there's all the surgeries and procedures. Apparently she gets her lip filler topped up every few WEEKS.

Her life is absolute chaos and madness and it's all from her own choices and poor decision making so no I don't feel sorry for her but I do feel sorry for her loved ones.

I was just about to ask,if she has ADHD because the impulsive behaviour and chaos can for some people with adhd be a real pattern. She certainly comes across as someone with ADHD .
