Sortalike · 31/05/2026 14:51

a yard is 3 feet (36 inches, so approx 90 cm)

Bohemond23 · 31/05/2026 14:51

102.5cm

MyNameIsTina · 31/05/2026 14:51

3 feet, 90cm

How could more answers possibly be better, it's a factual question which can easily be answered by typing it into Google

Why would anyone waste their time doing it for you

MyNameIsTina · 31/05/2026 14:52

Bohemond23 · 31/05/2026 14:51

102.5cm

Eh?!

CaptBirdsEar · 31/05/2026 14:52

depends how far from the boundary the house is ?

mumofoneAloneandwell · 31/05/2026 14:56

A yard is a foot imo

So 12cm?

Glittertwins · 31/05/2026 14:57

12inches, not 12 centimetres is one foot.
One yard= 3 feet

DaisyDooley · 31/05/2026 14:59

A yard is 3 feet - so 3x12 inches =36 inches
or 3x 30 cm so 90cm

AuContrairePubicHair · 31/05/2026 15:02

92cm, I was always taught

TheyGrewUp · 31/05/2026 15:04

One yard is three feet, 36 inches, 90cm
One metre is 100cm.
100/2.4 = 41.66"

ParmaVioletTea · 31/05/2026 15:08

Huh? A yard is 36inches or 3 feet

In centimetres it’s 2.5 x 36 = 90 cm

Me?

Bestinshow22 · 31/05/2026 15:11

I thought a yard was 90cm (30cm per foot) but google tells me it's 91.44cm.Confused

MyThreeWords · 31/05/2026 15:11

Why are there so many wrong answers here? Is it some joke originating in another thread?

Desordenado · 31/05/2026 15:12

It’s basically a metre, a yard of fabric and a metre of fabric are pretty much the same thing

Psycho.

MyThreeWords · 31/05/2026 15:14

Do people really think that a foot is 30cm -- as if cm and inches could be factored into each other without fussy bits after the decimal point??

sanityisamyth · 31/05/2026 15:14

A yard is 3 feet. There are 12 inches in a foot. There are 2.54cm in an inch. You should then be able to work it out?

They’re pretty much not the same thing. A meter is 3’4”.

A foot isn’t 30cm.
