Middle of the night musings.

i would have said the late Queen would have been recognised in the most countries around the world but not sure who would now. Maybe Trump?

Anyone I'm forgetting?

Trump.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 30/05/2026 10:26

What a terrible fall from the heights to the depths that is.

Hohofortherobbers · 30/05/2026 10:27

Michael jackson

Raciney · 30/05/2026 10:27

Natasha Sparaks for sure!

MrsEmmelinePankhurst · 30/05/2026 10:27

Trump

SomedayIllBeSaturdayNight · 30/05/2026 10:28

The Pope?

Do you know something the rest of us don't? 😆

scrumpledtitskin · 30/05/2026 10:32

Pretty sure it'll be Ronaldo or someone

SnappyUmberLion · 30/05/2026 10:33

Ronaldo or Messi.

SnappyUmberLion · 30/05/2026 10:33

Ronaldo or Messi.

I'm not sure I would recognise either of them...

IdentifyingAsAWoollyMammoth · 30/05/2026 10:35

Trump and the Pope would be in the running but I suspect the most likely answer could be someone from the Asian continent. More than half the population of the world is in Asia. China has something like 5 times the population of the US. Xi Jinping, the leader in China has to be in with a shout.

girliepop · 30/05/2026 10:35

MadonnA
Britney Spears
Leonardo decaprio
Taylor Swift

Perhaps, but they are recognised the world over.

CortieTat · 30/05/2026 10:36

My vote is for Tenzin Gyatso, the current Dalai Lama. Most people live in Asia

The Pope?

If the pope walked into your local pub in normal clothes I doubt hardly anyone would recognise him.

Except the Pope never wears normal clothes and there are 1.4 billion Catholics so he's going to be in the running.

troothfairy · 30/05/2026 10:44

Yeah sadly it’s probably Trump, though I think Putin and Kim Jong are pretty recognisable too.

William & Kate, maybe?
Film stars? Musicians?

Nah, it’s Trump. Urgh.

DeanElderberry · 30/05/2026 10:46

Trump, the Pope.

Next level Putin, Xi, Modi.

Has he been reincarnated?

Taylor Swift

Not sure about that one. Huge swathes of the population would have no idea what she looks like. I’d be staggered if DH or any of his friends could pick her out in a line up.

People like Trump are far more ubiquitous.

I do agree with Ronaldo and Messi though. If you use Instagram followers as a barometer then they are miles clear of everyone else. They have well over double the number of followers compared to Taylor Swift.

SlightlyAjar · 30/05/2026 10:48

Trump or one of the big footballers. Definitely not the Pope.

HoraceCope · 30/05/2026 10:48

putin

Secretseverywhere · 30/05/2026 10:49

Obama? I think he’s very recognisable and his voice is distinctive

Silverbirchleaf · 30/05/2026 10:49

Putin
Trump
Prince William
King Charles
The pope if he’s wearing pope clothes.

I wouldn’t recognise Tyler Swift or the footballers, although their face may seem familiar.
