That thing where you just can't stop once you have started.

I am not a greedy person and often leave food once I'm full, can stick to one packet of crisps, a couple of biscuits etc but haribo sweets, specifically gold bears, I keep saying each handful will be the last and then the packet is gone 🤐 I need to stop buying them!

JAFFA CAKES

I could (and do) eat a whole packet with a cup of tea

One pack, one portion.

Cola bottle sweets
Giant strawberry jelly sweets
Tangfastics
Jam cream biscuits (think that is their name)
Cadbury choc eclair sweets.

I can’t have the above in the house apart from on rare occasions for that reason!

Jam cream biscuits are 😍 They go soft within 10 minutes of opening so obviously need eating 🤪

Strokethefurrywall · 28/05/2026 01:20

Roast potatoes (but only proper crispy)
Haribo bears
Cadbury mini eggs

MrsKoala · 28/05/2026 01:35

Quiche. I always buy two. One to distract me before I can eat the other one.

Haha yep was thinking the same. Posh cow 😄

@DugnuttEyeBoogies @Flinderskleepers jesus, just let people eat and list what they like. There’s no need for inverted snobbery and name calling. Besides, if @Xanadu78 and others didn’t list their favourites, half the thread would just be people repeating Pringles and Haribo!

Potato triangles. Probably a good thing they were discontinued.

Ritz crackers as a vehicle for cream cheese.

My dh would agree with you as Ritz crackers as a vehicle for cream cheese Grin
I never buy them when I go to the supermarket (he is on the very chubby side) but that doesn't stop him. Along with milk, bread and butter, I would say Ritz crackers are one of the permanent food staples in our house!

FunnyOrca · 28/05/2026 07:41

Pistachios

Not salted, not in chocolate, not “Dubai” style.

I love shelling them and the soft crunch and delicious taste. I don’t buy them often and when I do I buy a small pack but it’s literally a fear of mine for them to be out as nibbles at someone’s house. I just can’t stop!

cupfinalchaos · 28/05/2026 07:54

Costco chocolate coated Brazil nuts.

DataColour · 28/05/2026 08:46

Jalapeno pretzel bites. OMG. Especially a brand called Crackzel that it's in Home Bargains. I can't but them anymore.

Nah, it's just pretentious.

alcoholfreelife · 28/05/2026 09:47

Mini cheddars dunked in seriously strong cheese spread

Wine ( ignore my user name, I didn’t quit after all)

McCoy beef crisps or any ready salted crisps that I add more salt to ( they are never salted enough)

Toast with salted butter and salt added ( are you seeing a pattern with salt addition 🤦‍♀️)

Daim chocolate bars - crack for me! I get through bars of the stuff and wonder why I’m not a size zero….

BeachClub · 28/05/2026 09:52

Drumstick Squashies or Skittles.
