That thing where you just can't stop once you have started.

I am not a greedy person and often leave food once I'm full, can stick to one packet of crisps, a couple of biscuits etc but haribo sweets, specifically gold bears, I keep saying each handful will be the last and then the packet is gone 🤐 I need to stop buying them!

I know how this is going to sound but cashews. They’re so moreish and I bloody love them. It’s genuinely a problem to eat them in the quantities I am wont to do - it’s a lot of fat and oil

also hot buttered and marmited bagels. How people do one half I don’t know

Turnitoffnonagain · 27/05/2026 16:26

Doritos. I try to avoid, but those bright blue packets call to me.

longtompot · 27/05/2026 16:28

Haribo, biscuits, honey roasted nuts

and wine 😬

HaroldMeaker · 27/05/2026 16:28

Liquorice all sorts. They really are full of crap. I can wolf a bag down at a time, I have 2 or 3 bags a year.

EffortlesslyDedicated · 27/05/2026 16:30

Anything crunchy and salty but especially Pringles. You can keep your Haribos, they do nothing for me, every now and then someone brings them to work and I'll eat one and wonder why I did that.

Berlinlover · 27/05/2026 16:34

Hummus.

Whosthetabbynow · 27/05/2026 16:37

Wotsits dipped in humous would be like crack for me

Monty36 · 27/05/2026 17:05

Roast potatoes. Especially if they have come out super crispy and golden.
Sliver of butter on a jacket potato or on mash. Or on toast.
Smoked streaky bacon slice well cooked.
Scoop of ice cream. Chocolate preferably
Eclair or cream cake of any sort.
A bit more chicken skin or pork crackling.

Cheese
Nuts
Wine

This. What time shall I be round?

DilemmaDelilah · 27/05/2026 18:05

Pringles

Ineffable23 · 27/05/2026 18:06

Pringles. I gave them up in 2023 and haven't eaten one since. I still don't have enough self control with other crisps but Pringles were an absolute catastrophe.

DreamingOfGeneHunt · 27/05/2026 18:08

Crisps. I could live on crisps. All of them, but especially Piper's salt and vinegar, Asda Exceptional Salted, and Frazzles.

Also Tesco used to make pineapple, lime and coconut lollies and i'm fuming that they discontinued them

Omg say it isn’t so - I keep looking these lollies hoping they’ll appear for summer! They are the absolute best.

M&S ones are great.

Me too!

Cheese 🧀

Same. I'm lucky I live alone as sometimes I confess I can't even wait to slice it... and there are nibble marks.

Edited

I see your sliver of butter, and raise you a large chunk.

AddictedToBooks · 27/05/2026 18:22

Grapes, TUC Cheese sandwich crackers or if today is anything to go by, Tunnocks Teacakes (I bought them on a whim as they remind me of my Nanna).
Trying to lie to myself that having salad and baked potato for tea tonight will neutralise the calories.

Agreed. Can't be doing with slivers myself.

squashyhat · 27/05/2026 18:28

Peanut M&Ms. Especially from a "sharing bag". I don't think so.

squashyhat · 27/05/2026 18:29

And condensed milk straight from the tin.

MrsSchadenfreude · 27/05/2026 18:31

Chocolate milk
Gin and Bitter Lemon

CrushingOnRubies · 27/05/2026 18:31

Maltesers
and Doritos with salsa dip

Greenandyellowday · 27/05/2026 18:31

Petit Beurre biscuits. It's the sugar, butter and salt combo.
Cherries.
Salted cashews, Aldi mixed salted roasted nuts, smoked almonds.
Strong cheese.

Flidina · 27/05/2026 18:32

Mines Tunnocks teacakes and French fancies, can't buy them , otherwise I'd eat the whole box.
