Me too. If I didn't have to go out, I wouldn't. Especially when I'm taking out people with various mental and physical conditions. Often triggered by heat.
Radio earlier said that El Niño is also going to make it hotter for us.

Well apologies to the heat haters but I absolutely love this weather. I feel like I’m solar powered and get recharged by the sun, I’m blissfully happy when it’s warm and sunny. Predicted to be 34 here today (south east) and I’ve got a day off, going to take ds for lunch and then maybe go paddle boarding this afternoon or for a swim in the lake.
Tomorrow I’ll be working but there’s a/c which I will most likely find a bit chilly - I don’t moan though, I have a blanket on my chair and a little heater under my desk, and always wear layers so well prepared!
I just feel like we’ve had 8/9/10 months of grey wet windy weather and this is a blissful sweet relief for me.
dh finds it too hot to sleep, he took the fan and went and slept downstairs last night - good riddance, I bloody hate the fan 😂

I feel like this is more July weather than May , I dread to think what may happen in the actual summer with more heatwaves and I hate that because I can’t bear it and don’t like it too hot that everyone thinks your weird or a kill joy! Glad to read I’m not alone as sometimes I think I am when it comes to heat. You can’t make yourself colder easily either.

PSA if you live in a small house or flat, have a look at air to air heat pumps for when your boiler next needs replacing. They do heating and cooling 😎😎 (Absolutely standard in most of Europe, where needing heat in winter and cool in winter is the accepted norm)

Temperatures will drop significantly tomorrow, and the rest of the week will be 19 - 21 degrees where I live, although Thursday is promising 26 degrees.
