It's Springtime in Eastgate Park for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so over the next week or so, I'll be bringing you scenes of everything that's going on. Today there are several people jogging in the park. Preston is out for his morning run.

Britt shovels it into a sack.

Her next job is a bit of hedge trimming.

She always sweeps up afterwards.

Her last job is a bit of pruning.

Meanwhile, Tadgh and Kousei are clearing up some leaves. Kousei has a leaf blower.

Tadgh collects the leaves up with a dustpan and brush...

... and tips them into the cart.

There's another pile of leaves and twigs to clear.

Kousei rakes while Tadgh sweeps.

All their jobs are done now, time to go home!

Im loving all the recycling. Ive got to go to the tip this weekend (but I want to do some litter picking first) so it's quite inspiring 🙂

I'm sure the runners are keeping hydrated, although when I took the photos a few days ago the weather was really quite cold and overcast. Today is more like Playmoland weather - lovely and sunny, a day for shorts and flip-flops!

Is Norman the Foreman going to check up on the maintenance works? (I have to admit that I have a fondness for him).
I do hope there's a place in the park where you can buy the kids and ice cream and get a nice mug of tea or coffee.
