It's Springtime in Eastgate Park for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so over the next week or so, I'll be bringing you scenes of everything that's going on. Today there are several people jogging in the park. Preston is out for his morning run.

It's almost dusk and some badgers emerge.

A couple of hedgehogs scuttle along the ground.

And an owl peers out from its perch in a tree. It has been a lovely nature walk!

They’re lucky having so much lovely wildlife!

The park café is open and Hannah is ready to serve the customers.

Huw, Heulwen, Heledd and Hywel arrive at the café. The children leave their bikes in the bike rack.

They take a look at the menu.

Hannah prepares their order.

She brings the ice cream sundaes to their table. Pistachio for Heulwen, chocolate for Huw, strawberry for Hywel and vanilla for Heledd.

But while they eat their ice creams, Jack Jellyhead and Colin Custardhead spot the bikes. "We could nick these!" says Jack.

Fortunately bicycle cop Raymond happens to be cycling past and sees what is happening.

He shouts to the robbers!

And soon has them under arrest.

Norman the Foreman and his mate Brian arrive at the café.

Hannah is making them a nice cup of tea.

She brings the tea over to their table.

"Lovely cuppa!" says Norman.

Kirsten and Yasmin fancy an ice cream cone to take away.

Hannah prepares the ices.

Kirsten pays with contactless.

Yay love these threads!!

Good old Norman! Would love to share a cuppa with him. Nice to see law and order in evidence. Aren’t they lucky to have such diverse wildlife nearby.

"Mmm, these look lovely!" says Yasmin.
